And All stars has 5500+ just by itself.....

Actually, the three on that side of the picture (All stars/Coronado/AKL) have over 8500 and will actually have more than that with the CSR tower.

Rumor is that a different transportation system has been proposed to connect AK. It has not been revealed what that would be.

I'm wondering how this will work loading disabled passengers. A gondola every 8-12 seconds is fast, and wheelchairs and scooters will need to be secured. Buses are affected by this all of the time...

Individual gondolas can be released from the cable until ready to resume. Speculation is the loading platform will be a turntable like Kali River or a conveyor belt moving at the same speed like many of the rides. While one can depart every 8 seconds they will be in load/unload area longer than that. It will be like the monorail in no need to secure scooters and wheelchairs. Just roll on and roll off.

It's a tough concept for folks who haven't seen them in person. One might leave every 8 seconds, but they are "in station" for a fairly long time, as they actually come off the cable(haulrope) when in station. So the cable might be moving fast, but the car itself is not. Depending upon how it's done it won't be a huge issue.

Naw, it’s gonna be a row of scooter like seats and they’ll call them banshees.

I am watching a TV show on Hong Kong and they have what I think Disney will be using for the Skyliner on a line on Lantau Island. They call them Crystal Cars because they have a glass floor but the show showed the loading platform which reminded me of Kali River Rapids. See the https://www.np360.com.hk/en/ website. This seems to be exactly what would work for the Skyliner system.

Disney already has their system in the works. Dopplemayr seems to be the company doing it. The floors won’t have glass bottoms as far as I know.

Yeah, the tv show showed the glass floors but they have cars without it for cheaper (of course). To see them in action made me a believer that what Disney will implement will be fantastic.

I've actually ridden those and it is a different system/company than Disney is using but I do think gives some idea of how things will work - especially the load/unload stations and how they can move people quickly but still have time for strollers and wheelchairs, etc

One big difference is that system in Hong Kong goes way higher than the one are WDW will

Yes, I think people not familiar with these machines will be pleasantly surprise by the design. I also think that you will not see the Disney ones go very high, certainly for the most part not above 30 feet. They will not want something that is going to be seen all across the skyline of the parks. The exception might be the leg from CBR to Riviera, which appears to have to go over some of the units at Jamaica. That might have to climb above 40 feet to get over those buildings if that's how they route it.

The cars look similar but this system was done by a different company then Disney is using. The Hong Kong system is also a two cable system where's Disney's will be a single cable system.

Luckily the Good Neighbor hotels will offer great extras and will make nice options. I will check these gondolas out but so far I have no desire to deal with these.

Those that have glass floors are making me feel panicky. Ugh!

I don't believe there is any indication any of the Disney ones will have glass floors, just as an FYI
