Oh... and I made friends on an excursion in Alaska and we ended up hanging most of the week. Turns out later we discovered we knew the same person I work with.

I've gone solo and had a wonderful time. I met so many wonderful people. There are a few Royal ships with studio rooms too. I went solo on Anthem. Just a few tips from my experience... I found the main dinning room provided a greater opportunity to meet people over the buffet. I got involved in the various roll call opportunities available and put myself out there as a solo cruiser. It was a great way to know a few people on boarding day. I made an effort to talk to people and be social....that was a huge key for me. I loved being on my own schedule and whims!
