Hi Everyone,

WE just bought a BW resale contract to add to our PV points. As I was doing research I noticed that points were sometimes confusing. How can you have no points in one year and 45 points left in the year before? Some examples are an AK 160 points 0 / 104/ 3 BW 150 0/ 3/0 PV 100 103/ 4/ 100. I don't Understand why these points are messed up.

Also we have 237 points available from April 2019 that include 70 banked from April of last year, can I book a stay with those points for next June or do I have to use them before the end of this year?

Have a magical day,
Debbie Compall

If 70 points were banked from April 2018 they are now good from April 1 2019 until March 31, 2020. You could not use them for a June 2020 reservation. You would need to use them before March 31, 2020.

With the three contracts, it appears that points were not used or not banked into the next year. They might also have been borrowed and then not used for some reason.

If I get what you have written, you have 160 AKV points. I'm guessing the three years are 2018, 2019 and 2020. So no 2018 points are left, 104 2019 points are left, but points were borrowed from 2020 leaving it with three points. The BWV points had zero 2018, three 2019 and zero 2020 points (they must have all been borrowed and used). PVB 100 point contract had three points banked or borrowed and then none of the points were used, so 103 were wasted, only 4 2019 points and all 100 2020 points.
