Songs that say "a time on the clock " in them

Copacabana (At the Copa) - Barry Manilow

Her name was Lola, she was a showgirl
With yellow feathers in her hair and a dress cut down to there
She would merengue and do the cha-cha
And while she tried to be a star
Tony always tended bar
Across the crowded floor, they worked from eight til four
They were young and they had each other
Who could ask for more?

At the copa Copacabana
The hottest spot north of Havana
At the copa Copacabana
Music and passion were always the fashion
At the copa they fell in love

And because I am older than dirt:

Rock around the clock
Bill Hailey

One, two, three o'clock, four o'clock, rock
Five, six, seven o'clock, eight o'clock, rock
Nine, ten, eleven o'clock, twelve o'clock, rock
We're gonna rock around the clock tonight
Put your glad rags on, join me hon'
We'll have some fun when the clock strikes one
We're gonna rock around the clock tonight
We're gonna rock, rock, rock, 'til broad daylight
We're gonna rock, we're gonna rock around the clock tonight
When the clock strikes two, three and four
If the band slows down we'll yell for more
We're gonna rock around the clock tonight
We're gonna rock, rock, rock, 'til broad daylight
We're gonna rock around the clock tonight
When the chimes ring five, six and seven
We'll be right in seventh heaven
We're gonna rock around the clock tonight
We're gonna rock, rock, rock, 'til broad daylight
We're gonna rock, we're gonna rock around the clock tonight
Oh, when it's eight, nine, ten, eleven too
I'll be goin' strong and so will you
We're gonna rock around the clock tonight
We're gonna rock, rock, rock, 'til broad daylight
We're gonna rock, we're gonna rock around the clock tonight
When the clock strikes twelve we'll cool off then
Start rockin' 'round the clock again
We're gonna rock around the clock tonight
We're gonna rock, rock, rock, 'til broad daylight
We're gonna rock, we're gonna rock around the clock tonight

Daydream Believer - The Monkees

Oh, I could hide 'neath the wings
Of the bluebird as she sings
The six o’clock alarm would never ring
But it rings and I rise
Wipe the sleep out of my eyes
My shavin' razor's cold and it stings

Cheer up, sleepy Jean!
Oh, what can it mean
To a daydream believer
And a homecoming queen...

Detroit, Rock City - Kiss

“I feel uptight on a Saturday night
Nine o' clock, the radio's the only light
I hear my song and it pulls me through
Comes on strong, tells me what I got to do
I got to
Get up
Everybody's gonna move their feet
Get down
Everybody's gonna leave their seat
You gotta lose your mind in Detroit Rock City”

Saturday Night’s Alright For Fighting-
Elton John

It's getting late, have you seen my mates?
Ma, tell me when the boys get here
It's seven o’clock and I want to rock
Want to get a belly full of beer...

One For My Baby- Frank Sinatra

It's quarter to three,
There's no one in the place Except you and me
So set 'em up Joe
I got a little story I think you ought to know

You reminded me of when Bette Midler sang that for Johnny Carson on his second to the last show of The Tonight Show. (He did the last episode by himself, a thank you montage of his many years as host.) Watching this still makes me teary-eyed. Johnny was a class act, all the way. And she sang this so beautifully and eloquently for him. The lyrics couldn't be more perfect.

Taylor Swift

You need to calm down

You are somebody that I don't know
But you're takin' shots at me like it's Patrón
And I'm just like, damn, it's 7 AM
Say it in the street, that's a knock-out
But you say it in a Tweet, that's a cop-out
And I'm just like, "Hey, are you okay?"
And I ain't tryna mess with your self-expression
But I've learned a lesson that stressin' and obsessin' 'bout somebody else is no fun
And snakes and stones never broke my bones
So oh-oh, oh-oh, oh-oh, oh-oh, oh-oh
You need to calm down, you're being too loud
And I'm just like oh-oh, oh-oh, oh-oh, oh-oh, oh-oh (oh)
You need to just stop
Like can you just not step on my gown?
You need to calm down

And because I am older than dirt:
I must be older than you:

ME AND MY SHADOW - Perry Como
Me and my shadow
Strolling down the avenue
Me and my shadow
Not a soul to tell our troubles to

And when it's twelve o'clock
We climb the stair
We never knock
For nobody's there

Just me and my shadow
All alone and feelin' blue

And when it's twelve o'clock
We climb the stair
We never knock
For nobody's there

Just me and my shadow
All alone and feelin' blue

I must be older than you:

ME AND MY SHADOW - Perry Como
Me and my shadow
Strolling down the avenue
Me and my shadow
Not a soul to tell our troubles to

And when it's twelve o'clock
We climb the stair
We never knock
For nobody's there

Just me and my shadow
All alone and feelin' blue

And when it's twelve o'clock
We climb the stair
We never knock
For nobody's there

Just me and my shadow
All alone and feelin' blue

Let’s call it a draw
