Supposed to be the name for both. Mubo is like Oga. Mubo operates the droid depot. Savi operates the salvage workshop, Oga operates the cantina. Kat Saka's family does the popcorn stand."Mubo." Is that the Disneyland name maybe?
And let us not forget Bubo Wamba who I assume is also a person (or people?)Supposed to be the name for both. Mubo is like Oga. Mubo operates the droid depot. Savi operates the salvage workshop, Oga operates the cantina. Kat Saka's family does the popcorn stand.
Ok, so I grilled my daughter on all the backstories she knows There is a 250 page online book that they have in the internal computer backstage and she has been reading during her breaks. Most of this info though was provided on second day of training. Each CM is encouraged to pick a settlement and create a backstory.
This is great...thanks for taking the time.Ok, so I grilled my daughter on all the backstories she knows There is a 250 page online book that they have in the internal computer backstage and she has been reading during her breaks. Mubo is the droid expert. He respects Oga and Dok. He's friendly, very approachable, no one is scared of him. He reprogrammed Rex for Oga as a peace offering.
He also reprogrammed the podracing engine and droid for Cookie at Ronto Roasters. Mubo is friends with Savi and gets a lot of scrap metal from him
Oga takes credits out of every business in Black Spire Outpost. She's feared, she's ruthless. Her boyfriend Dhorian, was a Wookie, she shot him in the arm with a blaster cause she wronged her. She respects Dok Ondar because he was there before here. She own the cantina, and leasing the docking bay for Hondo as long as she gets profit for his dealings
Dok Ondar he's the oldest creature in BSO, as a young child he started collecting things through his journeys, he has a good eye for rare and valuables artifacts. His parents died in an "accident" but he's not sure if it was an accident because he found jedi and sith artifacts in the accident. His house burned down and when you see him he has a vial around his neck wit ashes from the burning. He's respected and feared. He trades with Hiro, cousin of Jabba,
Sabbakka she's very nice, the only creature in BSO to have a permanent residence for her store. Oga can see she has no ill intention so she lets her stay there to build her toys. Same species as Watto from Episode I
Cookie he owns Ronto's and Docking Bay 7. He's a traveling food truck. He stops at BSO to deliver food and takes off every night. He keeps asking Mubo to reprogram the droid that spins the meat.
Savi and the gatherers secretly scavenge scrap metals to build lightsaber. His backstory is very mysterious
Hondo is a scoundrel, Oga rents the docking bay because he owes her a lot of money, she doesn't trust him. Garr and Malta work for him and you will hear them talking throughout the queue. Karen is the supervisor engineer and she helps repair the ship, you hear her when you come off the ride
Oga doesn't want to deal with the first order or the rebels, they have just arrived 3 weeks ago and she's still unsure about them But as long as they don't mess with her or her business she's fine.
There are 3 settlements:
All of them are an hour away from PSO, the citizens are given free transport from the settlements to BSP to work by Oga
Galma: a criminalized settlement, illegal podraces, illegal droid battles, gambling, they live in broken down ships or transports. You can hear the Galma radio at the beginning of the queue of SR
Peka: very energetic and social village by the river. People live in tents and main source of food is agriculture and fishing. They even have a cantina on their settlement.
Surabat: has harsh weather, they live in the spires. The founder of BSO was from this settlement. A lot of people from this settlement don't like the resistance cause they are hiding in the sacred place
And yes you can call us nerds, we will wear that name with pride
I'd love to read that book!!! Thanks for sharing! Me too! I finished a Crash of Fate and it was cute...I enjoyed reading about the places and “people” we will come across in Batuu but it is pretty much a love story (which I’m fine with). I pre-ordered the other book but it doesn’t come out until our second day in WDW (aug 27). Fortunately I got the electronic version so I can start reading that right away.I'd love to read that book!!! Thanks for sharing! I'm in the midst of reading the new Galaxy's Edge book and love it!
me too, it's for internal use only Also waiting for the Black Spire book to come out, might even take it with me on August 29th, since I'm planning on being there all day I could read it in my in between streams timeI'd love to read that book!!! yes walk up availability will happen you just won't know until you are there.So...I continue to be unable to pick up a reservation for either Savi's, Oga's or the Droid Builders. Does anyone know if they will have walk-up availability for any of these experiences?
We are planning to arrive at DHS around Midnight ahead of opening and expect we will head right over to Savi's in an effort to get in if walk-ups are available.
I'm 200 pages into Black Spire (got an ARC), and it's wild reading it now that I've been to the land.
I saw this on MCO’s Twitter account a few months back and took a screen capture. The power of Disney...and the Force...to influence procedures at MCO.
