How long does each of these experiences take? Just wondering how much time to slot. We have reservations for both!

Has anyone tried carrying their droid in a baby carrier (Ergo, Tula, etc)?
I have not, but ever since someone upthread suggested a pet carrier, I've been scanning Amazon for ideas for my future BB unit. But I really need some measurements. You can easily find one for half the price of the GE backpack, with a choice of colors. Customize with patches and pins.

Savi's around 20 min, it's a scripted experience. Droid as long as you want, they don't push you. I built mine in under 20 min

After quickly looking through all the recent posts, I am hoping someone has any information regarding the arrival times for each reservation?

After booking the Droid Building experience (@ 9:15pm), in the section of MDE where it lists my plans/reservations I am told to arrive at 9:15, however I have read some conflicting times, like arriving an hour (or more) beforehand is acceptable. Does anyone know when guests with reservations will actually be allowing entry into Galaxy's Edge prior to their reservation time? More than a hour? A couple Hours? Maybe no one will know until this process actually starts on Aug. 29?

I am asking because HS closes @ 10pm the night I have these reservations for and I am hoping to see as much as possible of GE in what looks to be a very small window .

    Thanks in advance,

I saw a message I think in here about package delivery to a WDW resort, has this been confirmed as I honestly do not feel like carrying around a LS and or a droid all day, is this an option when purchasing?

I have a related Savi’s question & wonder what you think. We made 2 separate reservations, the closest we could get was 15 minutes apart. But we would like to be closer together because we want them to contrast each other. Do you think if we check in together they will allow us to go thru together? Like maybe let another party in front of our first time?

there is a guy on youtube who got all the personality chips at Disneyland and did a video of his droid using all of them. I forget his name (Dan something?) but it should be easy to find.

    Also he measured his R2 and I wrote down 13 x 7.5 x 8.5

We have 2 boys, ages 6 and 9, and are going on the first day of AP previews. I have 3 questions.

    1. Since droid depot wasn’t a choice to reserve, do we think or assume that it will be open and we will be able to make them?

    2. Any guesses on if we should make a beeline to avoid a huge line, or if it won’t make a big difference and we could just go over during our window.

    3. Does anyone have recommendations on which ones to make? My instinct is one of each, but are their differences other than the obvious (2 kinds of droids) or compelling reasons other than prersonal preference to choose one over the other? If not, i’ll Try to overcome my instinct to take over for them and just let my boys choose :P

Droid depot will be open during ap previews
I don't think you need to make a beeline for it but it will be popular
I've heard more people complaining about the BB unit. But you could search for reviews on YouTube, the are a lot. I made an R unit but just because R2D2 is my favorite character

Controlling a BB unit takes practice. From the videos it seems they are very similar to the BB8 that I have and let me tell you. In the beginning and still is a pain to control some times. Because his head can loose connecting and his head can come off. But after you get a hang of it. That is where I see most of the complaints forming through. Though these BB units are bigger than my BB8.

I am doing an R unit because I already have a BB unit with having BB8. Hope this help.

Not sure if we are allowed to give out the name but it was the Dan O channel. It help me decided which personality chip I wanted. Sorry if I broke the rules.

I am doing the AP preview on Sunday in the 1 PM to 5 PM slot. My reservation is "Includes Millennium Falcon: Smuggler's Run" but not Savi's or Oga's.

I've been to SW:GE in DLR, so my priorities are shifted a bit.

How impossible will it be to get into Savi's without a reservation? Does anyone know yet where lining up will take place, and how soon I should show up to make sure I have a shot at Savi's?

What about merch? Is stock looking good, or are things going to be rough by Sunday at 5 PM?

they will have some open spots for walk ups for both Savi and Oga. For Savi I would go soon after arriving and check. As far as merch I can only tell you that I saw everything during CM previews, not sure how they are doing now

So I want a surprise about how they react, but is the personality someting like "sarcastic", "happy", or something else? Was trying to avoid video spoilers for the experiences.

Apologies if this has been answered, but I don't see the souvenir mugs on the Oga's menu for HS. Anyone know if they're going to be available?

Any word of an AP discount during the AP previews? I know there aren't going to be AP discounts after it opens but was wondering if Disney would be giving AP holders the same opportunity as CMs.
