They do not interact with one another. I am sorry that a CM told your family that. It is misinformation that started in West Batuu and has now spread to East Batuu.

Sending the thread to the merchandise thread.
Just an fyi, i took my R unit to my sister's house where she has an R unit and one will make sounds and the other would make sounds about 45 seconds later, many people have reported this as well, they did this for about an hour and then we turned them off. Not sure i would call it interacting with each other but they made noises until we turned them off.
Have you checked the batteries?

Ours do interact in a way you just described by them beeping after each other. This goes on for hours if we leave them turned on!

If it makes a difference, ours each have a smugglers chip inside.....two different ones.
I don't know why it's said they won't interact. If you only have one, they do not make noises for hours, they shut off. Having 2 is different. If that not interacting with each other I'm not sure what would be. What more interaction would be needed for it to be described as interacting?

Does anyone who have a custom lightsaber notice banding on the blade? Is that how they’re supposed to be?

Banding? Not sure I know what that is so not sure I can say if mine has it or not. Can you describe or photograph?

It sounds like you have LEDs that are out. The blade should be a consistent color for the entire length. There is a somewhat similar report on Page 56.

Has anyone seen Sabaac cards at HS? I‘ve never been able to find them. They’re supposed to be at the toy shop, right? I haven’t bought much and won’t til I have a higher paying job, but Sabaac I want. I love games. It’d be awesome to play at BSO on slower days when plenty of tables are open too.

Ive seen them at the toydarian toy shop

I’ll check again next week. Maybe the first order keeps confiscating all of them on the days I visit...or maybe I’m not seeing it.

We did this a couple of weeks ago. We actually were planning to take the saber back to our room at BWV, but we stopped in Dok Ondar’s store to buy some different colored crystals first. In the store there were CMs walking around with the shipping forms, and they asked if we wanted to ship ours home, so we took advantage of the service.

We just had to fill out a form with our address, and we also had to provide the receipt from when we bought the lightsaber. Then we gave the person at the register these documents, and paid for the shipping itself (I don’t remember how much it was, but it was ballpark around $15 to ship to us in the mid-Atlantic states).

The saber was delivered to us safe and sound in a box that is basically the same size as the saber (with some air pillow padding inside). It was shipped UPS ground and we received it about a week after handing it to Disney. Note that it’s shipped signature required; we missed the first delivery and wound up getting it ourselves from the UPS facility the next day.
Thanks very much. I was beginning to think this didn't exist. I want to go to Dok Ondar's to buy some extra crystals too, so this is perfect. Thanks again.

I haven’t read though all 66 pages so I could have missed an answer to this.
We just built two droids and they have been coming unpaired from their remotes. We’ve had to repair one of them about five times now. Is this normal?

do you turn them off after playing or leave them on and go into sleep mode?
My R unit has to be paired if I leave it on and let it go to sleep, if I turn it off then it works fine when I turn him back on

We’ve been letting them go to seep while they’re on. We turn the remote off but the BBs are on, that’s what you mean right? So if we turn the actual BB off they should be ok?

that's what happened to me. the off button in the BB unit is inside so you have to open him up, but yeah, try turning it off and on and then see if he stays paired up. Also check the batteries

Can I piggyback on this? We got one BB unit and 1 R unit, and don't use them that often. But I noticed that I have to pair them every time we do use them, whether the last time was 2 weeks prior or 10 min prior. It isn't that annoying on the R unit, but man am I tired of opening and closing the BB unit. That just seems like a bad design. So I didn't quite understand. What do I have to turn off or not turn off to not have to pair them every. single. time? There are on/off switches on the remotes and on the units, correct? So which goes off vs stays on, and when?

I have 2 R2 units. They have been on for 8 hours and also off for 2 or 3 days. I turn the units and controllers off.

I have had the units for 3 weeks. Never had to pair them.

I also turn both unit and remote off and then whenever I tun them back on it works fine without need to pair

Thanks, I'll try turning off both the remote and the unit every time and see if they stay paired. I don't think I usually turned off the unit, at least not the BB one. Doesn't it bother anyone else that you have to open the BB one every time, twice, to play with it? It drives me bonkers, plus I worry that it will start not staying closed tightly with all of the manipulating. If I had realized this prior to buying I might have had my boys make 2 R units.

Was on Savi's reservation module this morning and it looked like ALL OF DECEMBER is suddenly open and available with lots and lots of time lots throughout the day. If you were hoping for a December booking, now might be the time to check it out.

Yes, that annoys me. I knew it when I opted to build one, since it's obvious while building. I have both though, built the R unit first for that exact reason actually. I built a B second and that was only because I wanted one of each. I don't like them nearly as well and if someone was building only one, I'd suggest an R unit quite honestly.

I didn’t pay any attention to how to run them until after we were home from our trip- so it wasn’t obvious to me while they built them. I had seen that the BB ones were harder to drive, but that’s all I’d seen as far as differences. Honestly I probably would have still had them do 2 different ones- I mean encouraged them to do 2 different ones lol- since I would prefer one of each. But it’s super annoying!
