Status of Magic Kingdom plaza road flyover

Hey everybody

I'm headed down to WDW in a few weeks and I'm curious how far along the construction of the flyover bridges etc.. is. Is there a chance they'll be open in late August or is it more like a November thing? Of course, I realize there isn't a published finish date other than "2nd half 2018" that I've seen.

I don't think it will be done by late August.

No construction expert here, but it seemed like a late 2018 (or longer) finish from the general 'looks' of things when we were there the first week of July. I was impressed with how much work had been done, but still seems like a decent way to go.

Drove through that area just a few hours ago. I'd agree with the above assessments that later in 2018 seems more likely.

They now seem to be saying North (to MK resorts/bus stop) will open Aug 15

Well, whaddya know. Awesome news! Of course, the SOUTHBOUND lanes will make much more of an impact for us when going from BLT to basically anywhere but the MK, but I'll take it!
