Although this is only my second trip report, it was our family's 14th trip to Walt Disney World. As you can tell from the report title, we had a whole lotta laughs and a few mishaps along the way! We were at Walt Disney World for 10 glorious days and I documented and took pictures every step of the way. So, sit back and relax while I tell you all about it.

Oh, and since the trip was 10 days long, this report is probably going to be long. To help those of you who don't want to read all of the chit chat that seems to happen quite a lot on my reports, I'll try to keep this first post updated to include the page and post number of all Disney trip report updates. I've also gone to Hot Springs, Arkansas and to Branson, Missouri and have posted mini-trip reports about those trip. I'll include a post and page list for those two reports as well.

Whew! Let's get this party started!

Let me start by introducing our wild and wacky family. We live in West Monroe, Louisiana which is over 800 miles away from the most Magical Place on Earth. That doesn't stop us from making the yearly trek though.

There's me, Lisa. I'm 43 years old and have been working in the legal field for 26 years now. Yes, I started out as just a babe out of high school. I've been a paralegal for too many years to count. Don't believe everything you see on television....the legal business is not as glamorous as they make it seem. I often say I want to be something else when I grow up but I've got too many years invested to start over now.

Then there's my husband, John. He's also 43 years old and owns a cabinet and custom furniture shop. The shop is located right behind our house which is super convenient for him. We have found that even though new house construction has slowed down a lot, many people are remodeling their existing home so John's been kept pretty busy even with the economy the way it is. John suffers from epilepsy and takes a lot of meds but hasn't had a real seizure in years. Thanks to the Lord above!

Next up are our gorgeous, fabulous, smart, multi-talented children. Yes, I am a bragging Mama.

Lacey is our 22 year old daughter. Her first trip to Disney was at the ripe old age of 11. She attends a missionary college in Cleveland, Georgia called Mission Georgia Master's Commission. It's a discipleship program. She has attended for two years now and works her skinny little behind off. Not only does she take college classes but she also works in an Atlanta shelter/soup kitchen, volunteers her time with a baseball team for the mentally/physically handicapped, leads children's church and a whole lot more.

Last but not least is our 12 year old son, Hunter. Hunter's first trip to Disney was when he was just 1. He actually celebrated his first birthday with Mickey Mouse. Hunter just started the 6th grade and is in middle school now. He is my fellow Disney fantatic. He loves to help plan where to stay, what to eat, what parks to go to first, etc. He is a budding artist, sings in the honor choir, plays guitar and plays several positions on his Tackle II football team. He is a jokester just like his Daddy. Thus, the title of my trip report. Details of that will come along later.

Oh, you're probably wanting pictures aren't you. Sorry.

This is Lacey and I. I am on the left.

This is John and Hunter. I'm sure you can guess who is who.

We had a lot of great occasions to celebrate this trip......John and I celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary while there, Lacey graduated her second year of missionary college in mid-July and Hunter turned 12! What better place to celebrate than at Walt Disney World?!?! Oh, and, we were celebrating Lacey getting to go on vacation with us. She hadn't been able to go for the last two years because of her missionary work.

Up next, resort details, travel details, etc.

Oh Lisa, I am so excited to read your trip report! I am about halfway through the last one, which I just now found (you started that one when I was in WDW so I guess I missed it til now).

I love your pictures, you have a great family. And you and John look way too young to be married 25 years!

I can't wait to read the whole thing!:cool1:

Can't wait to hear about your trip! I am suffering from WDW withdraw (haven't been since 2004 :sad2: ) so I have to live vicariously through trip reports until I can get there again, hopefully in May.

Aw. Don't cry. I am ready for you to make me laugh. I'm already imagining how this one is going to play out.

Sit down, buckle up and hold on. zoooooooooooooom zooooooooooooooom

I was going to post another update earlier today but we had some really bad weather blow through and it took out the electricity.

Jumping aboard Lisa!!! Can't wait to hear all about it!!!

Glad that you made yor way over! John and I were just 18 when we got married. He dated my friend for a couple of weeks and I met him through her. They were actually more drinking buddies (he's a preacher's kid and they all go through that stage....she later ended up in rehab for alcohol addiction.) so my friend didn't care if I stole him away. We went out for 2 weeks before popped the question in February. In August, we were married. I've loved each and every minute of it and have never once wondered why I got married so young.

Oh my goodness, I'd be having serious withdrawals too if I hadn't been since 2004. I always say that I keep myself sane by reading trip reports and looking at pictures.

Our 2010 WDW vacation is scheduled for May 27th through June 5th. The waiting begins.

I LOVED, LOVED, LOVED your last trip report! I SO can't wait to read this one! I also can't wait to hear how everyone felt about the CBR surprise.

Thanks for the compliment. We definitely didn't have as many "mishaps" as we had last trip. Thank goodness! But, we did have a whole lot of fun!
