Back Story: DH and I have cruised 8 times on the classic ships. Christiaan Abbott has been either a ACD or CD and all of these 8 cruises. In December 2013 we cruised on the Fantasy, and Ray was the Cruise Director. So this broke our streak with Christiaan.
Ray called Christiaan (who was on the Dream at the time) and let him know we were cruising. Christiaan called our stateroom, and left us a message. We were just beside ourselfs. WOW, talk about caring and treating you like family. I will never forget what they did, and how just a small act can turn our cruise Magical.
