Hello again!! It has once again been a while since I've posted, but I want to get this report finished. And part of the reason for that is that I finally have another trip in the works!! E and I are going to be going for a week in February/March with my parents (who are now DVC owners!) Because of some recent life changes I didn't think I'd be able to get back to the world for a while, but now we are only about 7 months out!
So I left us off at DTD, with plans to visit MVMCP that night...
We got back to AKL at around 3:30pm, and changed our clothes and got ready for the party.
We got into MK early, as usual and were one of the first groups of people in line for the party. It was absolutely PACKED in MK at this time. I was feeling a lot of anxiety and struggling with the amount of people that were everywhere. I never remember feeling that way at WDW before.
We all decided to grab a quick dinner at Pinocchio's Village Haus. It wasn't anything special. I don't even remember what I ate.
After we finished eating, it was time for E's first ever ride at WDW. This was a big moment. I had to decide what would be her first ride experience ever - not something that you can ever re-do! But luckily, I had a ride in mind that I knew I would never regret being her first ride.
Here's a clue...
That was probably far too obvious, but her first ride ever was It's A Small World!! This ride has a lot of meaning for me, and it's my grandmother's favourite ride so the fact that she got to be there when E rode it for the first time meant the world to me.
E LOVED IASW. She was so excited. Her eyes lit up. She clapped her little hands. And it was an amazing experience. I even got tears in my eyes watching her with my grandmother.
After we got off of IASW, the crowds were starting to thin out thankfully. I was feeling much better by this point. We decided to ride Peter Pan's Flight since we were right there. The wait time said 30 minutes, but we definitely didn't wait that long - which is great for that ride! E fell asleep while in the Tula carrier waiting for this ride, and slept through the entire thing. She stayed asleep on me until we got spots for the parade.
We had some cocoa and cookies (yum!), browsed some of the shops along Main Street, and danced and sang while we waited for the parade to start.
We got a couple of photos taken in front of the castle
And took some photos of each other while we were waiting and having fun!
We stayed for a little while longer, but E started to get cranky. She was tired, and it had been a long day. So we decided to grab a bus back to AKL to get some much needed rest. We didn't get the full time of our party passes, but I was happy with what we had experienced, and was still quite weak and tired from how sick I had been the previous couple of days, so I needed the rest. We went back out to the bus stops and luck was on our side - we walked right onto a bus! By the time we got back to our room and got settled in for the night it was after 10pm. I was hoping that E would have a full night's sleep - we all needed her to.
Did she sleep all night? Find out in the next update!
