I have 3 jobs- I work for the grand ol City of Chicago (Transportation in I.T.), an instructor in Dog Training (obedience only) and the third, well it’s in retail, I dabble in photography, and I’m also the Volleyball Coordinator for the kids school – Mom taxi extraordinaire- amongst many other things which will come up periodically throughout this report!

Tom is a supervisor of office technology fixer people, (that's a technology word just like thing-a-ma-jig) and works a security job.

This will be my Family’s 4th trip to Disney my 5th. My family is all about FUN. We have a great time together and Disney allows both being together and just let us be… US!

Our last trip was Sept 2014 a surprise birthday trip for my kiddos.. This was one of the HARDEST things to do, yet in the end was well worth all the stress and 2 years of planning! (If you have a week or so you can read both the PTR and TR in my siggy!) I was sure this was going to be our last trip for some time since I now have to pay for the kiddies as adults. Well the Pixi Dust is flying and we are GOING BACK!

November bound here! Last time was 2013....too long in between. I've just retired and am going to add Disney to my planning twice a year! I'm taking a newby with me...that will be fun. I've charted all my favorite snacks and lunch places and I will be doing all the scheduling. It is a blast planning with someone new in mind. Also, I have considered doing a solo trip or two. I've been on the boards reading about the solo travelers experiences....life is to short to wait around for friends to decide whether they can go or not. Thanks for sharing your photo's. You have three beautiful kids, and the hubby isn't so bad either! Woooohoooo November!

2 year is excruciating!!! We did that. we went in 2011 and didn't go back until 2014. It sucked.
Newbies are the BEST and the BEST trips ever! Nothing will ever beat our first time.
Life is too short! Gotta Keep up and have fun in life!!!

Oh the anticipation! LOVE IT!!! When are your trips!

Our first is for Star Wars Weekends mid-May. My DD is a HUGE Star Wars fan and has been begging for a few years to go. We had a two free RT tickets on Southwest, APs and we're DVC members, so it's only costing me one plane ticket, food and souvies. Gotta love Disney math, right?

The second this year is mid-September. We usually try for one longer trip each year and this one is timed just before our APs expire, so we'll get three trips on them.

Let's first start by saying I LOVE ADORE and cannot plan without ALL MY DIS FRIENDS!!!
Then let me tell you i have been cheating on all of you.
I actually booked this trip back in January...
I know i know! I felt DIRTY planning and researching this trip without all of you with me!!! honestly i cannot do two reports together. I am NOT that organized like the rest of you. That is why you started to see me pumping out the updates like i was!!!


It was the dead of winter. I was tired of my daughter crying every time it's a good life came on the radio, the kids just getting weepy eyed when a Disney commercial came on... so talking to Tom we came up with November. and YES we were going back.

We want to see the castle in lights again...

Your going to see some pretty bad photography here. this was before i knew how to work a camera.. Shh don't tell anyone..

So i booked November 7-15... we couldn't wait to see the Christmas stuff!!!


January 20th we received MICKEY MAIL!



AND I WAS OVERLY EXCITED!!!


I got the USB!!!! YAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYYYYYYYY
We sat down AS A FAMILY this time and went through our ADR's which we do not want to miss this time around!
Let me tell you... Planning a trip OUT IN THE OPEN is SOOOOOOOOOOOOO much easier then sneaking behind the kids back!!!

We you tubed anything we were interested in... so we came up with the this..

AK- Tusker House for Breakfast. There really isn't anything else here we would want..

HS- 50's prime time Figured something different! maybe a F! package?!?

EP- Garden Grill and Teppan Edo Both will be a first for us

MK- Be our Guest Dinner (MUST) Crystal Palace- a first!

Resorts- Ohana- breakfast with Stitch

Nothing is etched in stone as of yet... Let's not forget about getting into the CHRISTMAS PARTY!!!!



I started researching the dates and crowd calendars.
This was going to be Jersey week with Veteran's day thrown in the middle.. Rut Roh...

I look up crowd levels for the next week.. and right on the spot I changed my dates!
We are now going November 14-22!!! See how much i have done without you?
Eh that pesky trip report on the most amazing trip ever!!!

I have no received any Mickey mail with my updated dates. so i had to find the web site that would work it out for you!
May 18 will be my ADR day
and
Sept 9 will be my FP+
I have some time...
But the Christmas party dates have been announced! How can they allow you to buy the party tickets BEFORE i can book my ADR's??? The party tickets can be purchased in APRIL!!!

This is a lot for today.. I will come back tomorrow with our favorites as a family!!!

I am back. Great intros of you and your adorable family.

I like your ADR choices. However, you cannot do the Fantasmic Package at 50's Prime Time. You can only get that at Mama Melrose, Hollywood & Vine and the Brown Derby.

Oh and I knew about this a bit ago.
