Disneyland is looking for a few good men and women to join the villainous First Order and work as stormtroopers in the new Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge themed land set to debut at the Anaheim theme park.
Auditions will be held Friday morning, May 24, in Downey for performers interested in playing the role of stormtrooper in the new Star Wars land.

Do you think you have what it takes to be a Star Wars stormtrooper? The qualifications may surprise you. You must be 5 foot 10 inches to 6 foot tall with a slender to athletic build. “Imaginative improvisation” is a necessity.
You need to demonstrate “high energy levels” because the role “requires physical exertion,” according to the audition posting. And, of course, you have to be able to work in the full-body armor of a stormtrooper.
The hours aren’t great. But you’re in the army now of the First Order. What did you expect? Disneyland needs you to be ready for battle on Friday nights, weekends, holidays, all summer long and during peak operating seasons.
Recruits must be at least 18 years old or a 2019 high school graduate.
