Transportation from MK Kiss Goodnight

We've done quite a few special things at WDW over the years, but have never stayed really late. I've read about the "Kiss Goodnight" in the Magic Kingdom that is suppose to be 45 minutes to an hour after the park closes. I was wondering if anyone had experienced it and if the boats are still running to the fort or do we need to drive or Minnie Van to get back to our camper if we stay that late?

IIRC, the boats run for an hour after closing.

We stayed this late on one of our trips last year. We even wandered through the gift shops on Main St afterwards and all the boats were still running back to the Fort.
