'Twas the night before Disney and all through the house,
Not a person was sleeping, Gonna go see the Mouse!
The bags were all packed, and placed by the door.
We soon will be off, our plane leaves at FOUR.
And there we lay, awake in our beds,
with visions of free dinning and ADR's in our heads.
Hubby dreams of LeCellier and a big T-bone steak,
while I dream of my first time to try the Clam Bake.
When out of my tummy there comes such a chatter,
I spring from the bed, I know whats the matter!
Away to the bathroom, I ran like a pup,
Oh please, not now, not an IBS flair up!
This horror to strike just before our plane trip,
I vow no morning coffee, not even a sip.
I think of the passengers, in the back our of plane,
and wonder if any will ever be the same.
I'm so sorry to Connie, to Robert and Jane,
and to the small children, Megan, Mike and Elaine.
I can hear the snickers, all the way to isle three,
Those airplane restrooms just have no privacy!
Then down from the isle, what should appear?
It's the stewardess with something to make the air clear.
But it is not over, I still have to dread,
the walk back down the isle, and the looks that lay ahead.
For each passenger will now soon see,
the horror from behind the door, was all 'cause of me!
( We suffer not in silence and often not alone... )
