I agree. I pretty well liked that movie, it was just maybe a bit too long. If they tightened up the pacing a bit it would have been phenomonal - but it's nothing that most Pirates of the CAribbean movies don't suffer from too.

I've said it before, but Atlantis: The Lost Empire is my favorite underrated Disney movie. And yeah, there was a recent thread on this, but it's no big deal. I'm just glad this section of the forum has a little life right now. It's ususlly kinda dead in here.

I am going to have to revisit Atlantis again. Haven't seen it in a long time. I'll bet I will like it cause I just dig that action/adventure vibe even if its not what people associate with Disney. If there is one thing I would like Disney animated to do more is this type of movie. But I know the princess ones make the big bucks generally.

Atlantis is so great - one of my favorites! It is visually stunning too. I love undersea stuff anyway, like 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea. It definitely has similar vibes. It's failure is inexplicable to me. I do like how the princess movies these days have a bit more action/adventure to them, like Tangled, Frozen, & Moana. Why isn't Kida a Disney Princess again? ;)

@BrianL Atlantis is a gem. I just watched Aladdin King Of Thieves with some Dis friends tonight and we all caught some Atlantis vibes there. Michael J Fox? James Garner? Are you kidding me?

Meet The Robinson’s with the original “Let it go” (I love the both lol). Makes me cry. Nice video!
I don't think there is a song called "Let It Go" on Meet the robinsons. Are you perhaps thinking of "Little Wonders"? It begins with the words "Let it go." That's a good song too.

This might be to recent but my wife and I just watched POC Dead men tell no tales. It got 30 percent on Rotten tomatoes. No way. I think the critics just reacted and said oh its just another pirates movie. Its a good, entertaining movie. People need to watch it for what it is and not worry about the past 4.

I think it's actually the best since the first one.

Thanks for sharing that video. So many of these are great picks! My favorite is Oliver and Company, It was the first movie I saw in theatres so it holds a special place in my heart. I also like Brother Bear, Bolt, The Rescuers and The Aristocats.

Aristocats is great. I listen to people who really like Disney who don't like that movie for some reason. I don't have a clue. Might have the best soundtrack of all films till little mermaid. And its a good story. People say oh but it kind of repeats 101 Dalmatians and Lady and the Tramp. Possibly somewhat but its still done well. I would watch it any day over many more well knows Disney movies.

Aristocats is better than 101 Dalmations and Lady and the Tramp because 😼 > :dog:. Heh. ;)
