Vegas: Paris VS MGM?

Hi!

I'm having another dilemna... I just found a deal at the MGM Hotel for the same price as the Paris Hotel. Which one should I choose? Does one of them have better rooms (in both cases I would get the basic room)? Is one more luxurious than the other? Anything you can tell me that would make my decision easy? THANKS ALOT!:)

Stayed at both, I'd say they are on par for rooms, both nice. MGM is further south on the strip, Paris is in the middle. MGM has a better pool. Some people complain about the size of MGM and the distance to walk from your room to the strip(it didn't both us). I would stay at either hotel again. I think it depends on what you are doing and if you have a car. I'd be glad to answer any other questions.

Hi and thanks for your reply. Since we dont have a car, I think that being more central is important. I think that I will stick with the Paris! Again, thanks alot! :goodvibes

There is a monorail stop at MGM so you can hop on it and go anywhere. You can also use the overhead pedestrian walkway to get to Luxor, Mandalay Bay and Excalibur. Even though MGM is at the end of the strip, it's still pretty easy to go anywhere. You can take the Monorail all the way to the Hilton and stop anywhere in between. Just another thing to consider in terms of location. :)

I think they are on the same level when it comes to luxury. I agree about the size of MGM. It is so big (about 5000+ rooms). It feels like you're walking a mile from your room to the strip. I really can't complain because during my last three trips to Vegas my room at the MGM was comped and I stayed in a Marquee suite (not a big gambler, knew someone at MGM). That suite was almost as big as my house.

I also like the Paris Hotel & Casino. The Le Village Buffet is my favorite mid-priced buffet in town.
