Vistana Resort

I have read quite a bit on the Vistana Resort by doing a search as everyone is suggesting. However, reading all that has now brought me to a couple of questions.

1) People mention requesting a section. How do you do this and what is the time frame.
2) Do the people that rent or exchange ussually get the old area? We are exchaning and our checkin date is Saturday but we actually won't get there until about 6am on Sunday. Does this mean I am most likely going to get in the older section.
3) I also noticed on the Vistana's website that some but not all master bathrooms have a whirlpool tub. Does anyone know which do and don't have this feature.

We are staying at the Vistana on our upcoming trip. We are RCI
exchange guests with a Saturday check-in. I called guest services to
find out which section we would be assigned, and was told that with a Saturday
check-in our villa would probably be in the Courts section. This is the
oldest section of the resort, the units there were originally town homes.
These units do not have water views.

If you go to the Vistana web site and click on Diamond Lane check-in on the left
side of the screen, you will have the option to pre check-in and make special
room requests. I requested a top floor villa with a water view so hopefully
we will get one or the other!
