Waldorf Astoria

Never stayed, but I just saw a review Tim Tracker did on it. They were given the stay and had an upgraded suite so it may be a bit biased. It looked really nice though.

Very very nice hotel. It feels business-y, which it is, but its a nice upper tier hotel. For the cost of the rooms which are usually around 300-350 Id stay there on an adults-only trip but its not supper themed for kids. Its not non-kid friendly, its just a business style hotel. You can use the more kid friendly pool at the next door Hilton Bonnet Creek as they are sister resorts.

It is most definitely a top-tier luxury resort which of course comes with the service level and luxury amenities, expect to be pampered, I would recommend it primarily for couples and/or adult-only trips. The resort is also a big draw for avid golfers due to the on-site Waldorf Astoria golf club.

With that said, for families with children, the Hilton Bonnet Creek next door is significantly more family friendly.
