What time of day have codes been announced?

Hello, I was just wondering in the past what time of day have codes been announced? Is it always first thing in the morning? late night before? I keep a lookout but it's making me crazy!!

I believe they are usually released in the morning UK time for you to call at 12.00 midday, however rumours suggested that this time they may have been out and being used from the night before. We also usually hear about their release date a few days before but were caught out this time when I checked the boards just in case, only to discover they had already been released earlier that day, I am pleased to say that although I could not call until about 6pm I still got the resorts I wanted POR & Poly

Usually they are supposed to be released first thing in the morning. there are often cases where the codes are loaded into the computers the night before and a few people are successful at booking them the night before but typically when that happens, they manage to block them till morning leaving people calling every 5 minutes hoping for a CM that will book it for them.

Keep an eye out here and on the front page of mousesavers.com. If there is "hard evidence" of a code coming out the next day, you'll find it there.

I am a Disney specialist TA and if I get advance notice of something, I'll post what I am allowed to here. They really cracked down on agents posting "Code XYZ will be out tomorrow with rates of $XXX...." before the actual release but we can usually get away with just saying "codes are definitely out tomorrow." and posting details once CRO is closed for the night.

My experience has been that the rumors start to fly a few days in advance. Then, you call at opening one morning and they are suddenly there. By the time I actually have heard that they are "officially" announced, most of the best dates at the most desired resorts are long gone. It takes some time to stay abreast of what's happening code-wise, but I can't complain. I've gotten some really good rates this way.
