Whats The Fascination With Stonehenge?

Newgrange is amazing. The size of the stones around the base (where were they quarried? How did they get there?) , the precision of the passageway in alignment with the winter solstice sunrise (BIG math for the time), the quartz and the sheer volume of it...pretty amazing.

When we visited a while back, I couldn't help but stand there for a bit in awe of the ancient mystery and majesty of the primary burial mound and the secondaries nearby.

We visited Newgrange as well. Just amazing.

I haven't been to Stonehenge but certainly wouldn't pass it by given the opportunity to visit. The world is full of wonders.
