My current avatar is the slogan for the 2019 NBA Champion Toronto Raptors, which naturally has been adapted for other things Canadian (e.g. Bianca Andreescu has been labeled "She the North").

Interestingly it's not the first time a corporate slogan has been adopted by Canadians. A long time ago Molson ran a campaign for their beer called "I Am Canadian" and we kind of adopted that as well. There was an associated video known as "The Rant"

As for my usual avatar, it relates to my handle. Back in the 80s a man named Jim Terry adapted a bunch of Japanese Anime to air on weekday afternoons. One of the adaptations, Getter Robo G, was called Starvengers, and featured 3 ships that could combine into 3 different robots. I was fascinated with these shows (and transforming robots in general) and thus when this thing called Usenet came along I used "starvenger" as my handle. And I've been using it ever since.

My avatar is my dog Yogi. I was messing around with him and intentionally trying to annoy him. I think it worked.
For the record, he's 13 years old now...in this pic he must've been around 4-5 yrs old maybe? He's always been a giant teddy bear and never bit or nipped at us or ever raised his voice LOL!
