Absolut and 7up or Beefeater and Tonic

Usually resort to another Vodka or gin. But will always order on of two above if possible.

Before noon, bloody mary.
After that, I like to get a Hemmingway Special. In that link, the maraschino it mentions is the classic maraschino liqueur maraschino luxardo, but I like the cocktail because it's easy to explain (a slightly remedial version) to a bartender that doesn't know it. "Double of white rum, generous splash of maraschino cherry juice, top with grapefruit juice, lime garnish"

I didn't realize time was an issue.
As a golfer there is no better way to start a before noon round or outing than with a Bloody Mary. And for the most part will not drink anymore durring the round.

I've moved on to Maker's Mark -- a decent, fairly smooth bourbon. I do try others now and again -- Woodford Reserve, etc. I'm not a posh bourbon drinker for the most part.

I like a rye with a spicy kick!
