Oh my goodness...the surprise on the face of the Princess was priceless when she was told they were headed for the airport and Disney World! "SHUT UP...WE'RE NOT GOING TO DISNEY!!!!" They had to stop at Academy to buy tennis shoes...DD couldn't find hers at home...and she told her before they left the parking lot; she had to get out of the car and check the back for her luggage before she believed her! They got notice at 3 this afternoon that their room was ready and they've just left Houston's Hobby Airport...on the way for a "24 hour adventure"!

Oh I should go up there and greet them. Haha

I honestly didn't think it was possible but they've done it...Rise of the Resistance is AMAZING....they haven't come up with the right words yet to describe it! Left POP at 5:30 AM for HS; park opened early at 6:32; thru turnstile at 6:38; got boarding group 21 so did Slinky Dog, RnR and ToT by 8. They opted to save MF for the next trip...Rise of the Resistance took almost an hour, then they took Skyliner to Epcot, got in line for FROZEN and did Soarin'...all before NOON! On the way over to DS now to exchange soccer cleats and have lunch before heading for AK and EMH at the MK tonight!

Isn't that AMAZING! She's been following the HS opening pattern this week so figured they'd be opening around 6:30. Worked out perfectly that they got in an early boarding group...saved travel time between parks. She was honestly expecting a much later boarding group time and had planned to go over to the AK rope drop to do FoP first...MUCH more fun the way it happened!

Pretty much...but there was a reason...they needed to exchange soccer cleats for Redstorm ...the parks are all "extras"! ☺ And they'll make it to ALL 4 parks today...Ed just drives there to meet out-of-town friends and have dinner.
