Sounds fun but a bit steep at $149 pp. I hate when they use the kids age 3-9 pricing for something with an open bar. There should be a steep price difference for anyone under 21.

Yeah, that’s harder to make a case for. But to charge a 10 yr old an adult price at an open bar event is ridiculous

Omg!!! Attended this event on the 4th and it was horrible!!! 😝 lines everywhere I waited 30 minutes to 😳 make a forky. The food was ok. And we sure did have a “private viewing area for the fireworks” 😝😳 they led us to the parking lot with all the smart people who got there for free. Do not do this event.... or any event that says “fireworks viewing from Port Conchere” that is Disney for parking lot 😝😝😝😝😝 it’s pretty sad ouat you could shell out for a nice Disney event and feel confident it would be a real nice event 😐😒 not so anymore... talk about killing the golden goose..... Disney = quality but not so much anymore

I feel like there were a few failures this holiday! I booked the DVC Fireworks cruise on July 3, imagining how cool it would be out in a boat with the perimiter fireworks and all. So we met at 7:30 for the champagne and strawberries, which they took away at 7:50, and then sat around until a little after 9 because if weather issues. They then herded us over from the marina to the Port Cochere to watch the fireworks with the folks who had books the DVC dessert party at half the price. I agree, not a very good location to watch from, and the sound was horrible!

So yesterday I get a call saying we would only get half our money back because the events team decided that because we had champagne and strawberries (2!!!) for 20 minutes and still got to watch the fireworks (albeit from a MUCH less desirable location) that we had half the experience promised. Heck to the no - I plan on sending a very polite email saying why I feel that is not adequate.

I was actually up at California Grill for dinner and fireworks on the 4th, and I felt bad for anyone sitting near the doors out to the observation deck. We were told they would open at 9 PM, but they started letting folks back up at 8:45, so there was a line of folks standing between the tables waiting to get out there.

Sorry, I hijacked the thread and went off-topic... We did have reservations for the Round Up but when I saw the menu I decided $100 for a meal at Cali Grill and the view from up high was a better deal.
