When I first joined many years ago it was to ask a few questions regarding an upcoming trip. In order to get my 10 posts out of the way I went to the Welcome to the Dis area and welcomed 10 folks who posted there.
I was able to get my 10 posts out of the way easy peasy. I thought it was easy to do and no problem.

I'm sure that's why we get an occasional newbie on the Game Board threads.

I think it would be great if some of these ideas were implemented if for no other reason than as a deterrent for those who create new profiles to ask for advice "anonymously". If it takes a little more effort maybe there would be less of it.

I don’t think there’s anything wrong with posting a thread anonymously. Some people want opinions without a possible prior bias based on who they are.
