I believe the NASCAR (RAcing Pin) is only from the Chase RAce! Event today starting at 11:30am PT and it is not a quest but a 3 person race over items and first to sit in the red tron tank wins the pin! I do hope they run the event and bsod is fixed before then. But like you i do not think we will see any extras or extra time to compensate for the BSOD loss of vmk playing time.

Are you kidding me? It is only available today in one race event? Well that leaves me out because I don't get home until after that event starts. And it sounds like if you don't get in right away, forget it. But now that i go back and read the newsletter post that came out when the tire pin was shown, I think you are right. Maybe i can hope that the pitstop potholes game tonight will have the tire pin too.

We have missed over 40 minutes of todays quest becuase of BSOD and over 2 Hours of VMK TIME!!!!

I hope BSOD is fixed before the event starts if not you might get back before bsod is fixed and have a chance, Remember in that newsletter it also said keep an eye out for other races so i think we will get more chances to win in the future. Now only if we knew the future held no more BSOD that would be great.
BTW I like the look of the tire pin and hope to win it as well, And I am with you in the hopes they will include it in other games or quest, but alas i do not think that is going to happen.

I have entered over 10,000 codes since I won that first Sparrow.

Aside from an army of monkeys and enough Dead Men's Chests to fill two Everest Rooms, no more Sparrow for me. When I get through the ones I have, I surrender. Even if they ever load POTC back up with codes, I will not hear or see that -&%$^- set of doors open and close again!

As to how long? An eternity with VMK being down, down, down. Since I am a CL, I cannot just sit in a room and enter codes. People need me for various things, so I rarely get to just enter away. When left alone for an extended period of time, I can enter over a 100 codes in an hour. Never really timed it. So, that would be what? 12 hours in a VMK day, hmm almost four full VMK days of entering. Elapsed time? Several months.

BSOD as is commonly stated here on the dis refers to the Black(Blue) Screen of
Death. This is in reference to win9x when it would crash would give a Blue Screen error and caused the system to have to restart ie Death.
