DISappearing Peeps...A fastpass to THIN! Part 2

Okay, I HONESTLY don't know how I did it, especially after I cheated SO BADLY last night (date night with DH, dinner and a play)
BUT, I lost 4 pounds this week !!!!

I am now wondering if I hadn't have eaten or drank what I did last night if it would have been a bit more? Because I not only ate like I was at Disney :rotfl: I also had a peach tini, it was soo good !!!

We strolled downtown and shopped for a bit before the play started but I KNOW we didn't walk that much, LOL.

So, if I subtract, add and subtract again :lmao: My total loss for the past 3 weeks is 7 pounds.... not bad, just maybe I can each my "mini" goal of 10lbs by next Friday. (I only set 10lb increments for myself, or I'd be too discouraged, if not)

NOT much longer til we leave for Disney !!! I need to up my walking goal so I can keep up wiith Brandon and Lexie. I CANNOT wait!!! I am working on a pretrippie right now and will probably post it the week before we leave.
 
I am down 1 pound this week, for a grand total of 11.5 for the year. I keep telling myself "slow and steady wins the race". But I am at a grand, grand total of 35.5 since I started Weight Watchers about two years ago. I just never know if I should count all of that since I got real lazy with it for a year and a half after I got married. It is only the past two months that I have been hitting it hard again. So I figure I'll just stay with my "phase two" weight loss when recording it here.

My goal for next week is to get my butt back into a good exercise routine. I have dusted off the old Bowflex, and I'm trying to do that three times a week. We have these old "Walk Away the Pounds" tapes sitting around the house, so I'm going to try really hard to not hit the snooze alarm in the morning so I can at least do the one-mile tape every day while my wife is in the shower. The tape takes around 30 minutes, which is about as long as it takes her to get ready.

Great job to everyone who has lost so far! And hang in there if you gained or stayed the same. We've all had bad weeks, now it is just a matter of getting back on that horse and taking it for another ride this week.
 
OK, first I will post my weigh in, then my totals for yesterday. I have GOT to get better about that! Maybe tomorrow will give me a chance to get that iPod filled, and I can stay caught up on other things. Anywho, I stayed the same. I am not TOO upset about this. Today is the absolute WORST day for weighing in because of Aunt Flo. I am at my bloatiest today, and I am happy I didn't gain. However, I am still concerned about hitting my 30 lb goal by the time we leave for WDW in May. (My overall goal is much more, but I want at least 30 off before the trip, preferably more.) I really think it's a reasonable goal, and I might even surpass it. Who knows. But on weigh in days like this one, I wonder a little. I did do my 30 minutes on my bike last night, and I need to be doing more of that. This was a bad week motivation-wise for me. I did all right. I just need to kick it up a notch and didn't feel like it this week. This is a tough stage. I have made a habit of eating better and drinking my water. I am just starting to make a habit of exercise, but am struggling a little with it. The weather here is still cold and wet out. I can't wait for all the snow to be gone, the ground to dry up a bit, and the temps to increase a little. I will be out there walking Jasper, listening to my iPod when all that happens. And I need something new at this point, I think. It keeps me on my toes. Forming the habits is great, but sometimes I tend to take them for granted a little and not pay attention as much, or focus as much maybe. I need to keep things fresh. Plus, I am getting really tired of winter. I can feel spring coming, and I wish it would just get here! I am ready to be outdoors more! Tonight, I need to do some cleaning, and right now, I don't even feel like doing that. Plus, I know I will have to make myself get on that bike for 30 minutes, because if I don't, I will feel bad about it. Why does Aunt Flo make me so NON-motivated?:confused3 I just can't stand that part of it! It's like a battle with myself to accomplish anything at all for 4 or 5 days. And I feel SO much better when I accomplish things! Anyway, I guess I was just reflecting on what is slowing me down. Enough rambling from me! Here's yesterday's totals...

B: oatmeal, yogurt smoothie, & Quaker oat bites (310)
L: McD’s honey mustard grilled snack wrap & apple dippers (365)
S: ½ sugar cookie (120)
S: 1/2 supar cookie (120)
D: spinach salad w/blue cheese crumbles, craisins, sliced almonds, zucchini, & imitation crab (325) & sf/ff mochaccino Jello pudding (60)
S: 2 WW carrot cakes (160)

TOTAL: 1460 calories & about 100 oz. of water

Also did that 30 minutes on the bike. :)

I just wanted to say that "AF" always kicks my hiney, too !!! I don't even weigh myself that week, it's pointless.

AS far as your goal for May, I totally predict that you will make it PLUS a few !!! I also wanted to say that you and UM have been encouraging me to excercise and didnt even know it. The challenge you set for each other has helped me. SO even though you stayed the same, you helped me lose !!!

I really like this style because the stones are big enough that you can tell what they are and I think extra bagettes could be added as kids are born. Just an idea for you.

THAT'S IT!!!! I've been wanting a mother's ring forever!!! That one is perfect!!!! May I copy???? Pretty please? My order would go emerald, amethest, diamond, peridot, emerald.....the diamond was baby #1 who died at 6 mo. pregnant!!!! So I always pictured honouring him with that.

You are more than welcome to copy it. DH really did a good job. I had a miscarriage at 7 weeks and the baby would have been a diamond-which could still be added-but DH doesn't think we should do that. I bought a necklace to honor the baby that I lost.

Has anyone tried the Dance Dance Revolution for the XBOX or Playstation? It's a dance program that has fun songs and also an exercise segment where you can enter your weight and it tells you how many calories you are burning as you dance on the mat. It's actually lots of fun and worth the money if you already have either of the systems. It's an awesome cardio workout too

I have 3 pairs of really cute bermudas and a denim skirt that I bought online but did not fit into. Some I could get on, but they did not look good at all and some I couldn't even button. Well I was trying to decide what to wear to cute dentist this afternoon so I tried them on - and they fit! All of them! I'm sooooo excited. This is a huge motivator for me.

Good mid afternoon all i have made my way down to the freezing basement we got hit with snow bad last night:crazy2: as far as weigh in I HAVE LOST 1/2 pd i feel like so much more ,but oh well what can ya do ...
i talked to UM just briefly and they made it through the snow and were seeing blue skies so that is good:thumbsup2 till we got cut off.(bad cell area) her kids were watching madagascar quietly.. no screaming..pixiedust: she sounded great not stressed at all.. Hi All I've stayed the same but thats fine as I've felt really bleah (I know that's not a word but thats how I feel :laughing:) I also need to get some new scales as mine are the dial type which aren't as acurate as the digital.

I've never heard of a Mother's ring but it sounds a lovely idea.

I do the DDR for exercise with my DD. Actually we take turns and while one does DDR the other is on the treadmill and we swap out for 30 - 40 minutes. However, I have not done this since all my hip problems - not sure I should yet.

It is very quiet today! Which is good, won't have so much catch up! Tonight all the Jr. High girls are spending the night at my house. We are having a pirate party first. Very fun!!!

Today at school DD (she's in 4th grade) they had a Medieval feast - culminating a unit - I love when teachers go that extra mile!!

Peeps It is the mostest beyoutiful day here in GA!!! about 70 with clear blue skies and a soft breeze...sending you some GA sunshine to those freezing out there!!! I will be wearing shorts(ok maybe not I didnt shve) at least capris to workout in today!!!! OUTSIDE!!!!

Don't rub it in! They are predicting anywhere between 8-16 inches of snow for this weekend around here. :scared1: Just when I thought spring was around corner.
