The point of the roundabout is that you can go the other way around it if you wish; you just need to turn on a mini roundabout and then go that way. Here is a map for ya. Simple No?

I just, for the life of me couldn't understand how that worked by my relatives' description. And THAT is the roundabout they were talking about! That is one roundabout! Is there something in the middle that people want to get to???

Good morning, everyone! Okay, technically, afternoon, but I figure anything that happens in the first hourish after you finally get your hind end out of bed counts as morning, so there!

What a lovely start to the weekend -- my whole family slept in, and we have no plans today at all until tonight, when one of our favorite TV shows is being broadcast! I look into my crystal ball and foresee that we'll have a nice relaxing day at home followed by a nice relaxing family evening, during which we can go outside from time to time to check on the nice relaxing total eclipse of the moon, as long as these nice relaxing clouds get the heck out of Dodge before then!!

How is everyone this fine Saturday?

My lesson went fine, thank you. We were doing 3 point turns. So much to do but I'll be fine.

Good morning...afternoon!

Submitted my challenge this morning and will spend some time this morning packing for our WDW trip on Thursday. We're meeting our DS & DDIL for lunch at Olive Garden and will pick up a few things to keep our grandsons entertained on the plane.

The snow from yesterday was heavy but looks so beautiful on the trees today. Blue skies too! It's supposed to warm up to 38F today which will make it seem like spring is here (supposed to drop to highs of 20's on Tues)

Oh yeah, major news around here. There is a fuel problem. Most of the petrol that is being used is contaminated and as a result, people's cars are clonking to a halt.

Prices are going to go up, but otherwise I am not fuzzed. Mostly because I use other people's cars to get everywhere..

Well, if you think about it, it does kinda make sense. Why cause lots of traffic delays and problems, not to mention have to continually change lanes, if you wanted to go from say.. Drove road on my map to say.. shrivenham road when you can just go the other way.

We leave on Thurs morning. We'll stay at a hotel on Wed evening near the airport and use their transportation to/from the airport. It costs less than paying to park at the airport. We'll be gone for 8 nights; the 1st 3 at POR & the last 5 at BWV. I remember LovesDisney saying that she'll be there the same time as me...I know that she's staying at POFQ...I'd like to connect with her if we can arrange it...

The laptop is ready but if I don't make it beyond the 1st challenge it's not going with me! One less thing I have to carry around the airport.

We do leave our car at the hotel. And we don't have to worry about finding a parking place at the airport. We get dropped off and picked up right at the door.

Hmmm...I'll have to think about the car/hotel thing some more. We're an hour from the airport. Limo service has gotten VERY expensive. I don't like leaving the car at the airport. There are places within a mile of the airport that charge for parking, and it's less than the airport parking, is gated/locked...but I have an uneasy feeling about doing that for more than 2 days.

Hopefully you can meet up with Loves Disney and have a grand ole' time! And I hope you make it to...ding ding ding...Round Two!

I purely love POR, and have from the time it was stilled called Dixie Landings. I have such nice memories of lounging in the jacuzzi after a park day, watching the steam rise towards the stars, before heading out to Pleasure Island with my best buddy!
