Does anyone know if there is a "formal night" on the 4 day Wonder cruise?

Elizabeth,

I wouldn't have let her in either (sorry kids, I am from NYC, & I have a NYC attitude about that stuff:scared: ) anyway!!!! Sounds like she was very confused. If she had her electric cut off she should go to the super or the building manager. JMHO

Hi All,

I went to the Disney Store yesterday and found Pirates of the Carribean antenna toppers!!!

Somehow I remember someone wanting the pink princess with the yellow crown. I bought it and have it if you still want it. Otherwise, I will have it to put in my antenna topper boquet!! :goodvibes

Anne Marie - there isn't a formal or semi-formal night on the Wonder - they're only on the Magic for the 7-day cruises.

As best I can tell thus far, one night is designated "dress-up night" where it sounds like people just wear nicer clothes (I'm guessing like "church" clothes). I think that's the 2nd night of the 4 night Wonder. And then the 3rd night is Pirate's Night. The other 2 nights are just cruise casual, unless you're booked at Palo.

Ahhhh! Thank you!!! So would "dress up night" be suits for men & dresses for women?

Hi, Anne Marie!
Well, I have to drive past my bosses house on my way home from the party anyway, so if they want to pay me to stay there until the end then that's fine.
They have another party tomorrow so we will have to go straight from TaeKwonDo to that party. Momboss said she will meet me there. That one is only about a mile from the house, so not a big deal. It starts at 4:30 and I am off at 5 PM. We probably won't be there by 4:30 because TaeKwonDo ends at 4:15 and it is more than 15 minutes between the 2 places, especially in Friday afternoon traffic! The kids have two parties on Saturday, plus Sister has ballet. The bosses will have to figure all that out for themselves!

I called the property manager this morning to tell her about the neighbor. Turns out the lady is mentally handicapped, and tends to get very flustered when things go awry. Her parents live somewhere close, so I don't know why she didn't call them! Anyway, the leasing office is going to check into it and help her get sorted out. I still wouldn't have invited her in, but if I knew the situation I might have made a few more suggestions!

Hi, everyone!

It has been a busy week, and I'm afraid that today is much more of the same. :wizard: :grouphug: to all those (and their families/friends) that need it - I'll try to check in later!

I just checked, and according to my Passporter, the attire for "dress up night" and Palo is similar - jackets and ties are preferred for men and dresses and pantsuits are encouraged for women.

But it seems like I've seen a lot of talk over on the cruise forum about how you can see just about anything. I'd stick with the Passporter suggestions, though.

Oh good..we wanted to dress up!:)

Well that's the last straw in John never cruising. Even if I could get him over his fear of water, he would never agree to dress up. Heck I am lucky he wore a tux to our wedding.

That's funny, Dana thinks "dress down" is taking your tie off!!!:lmao: :lmao:

Tammi - Finally got your box in the mail! Watch for it in 5-7 business days!:)

Vicki - Watch your mailbox, too!

Brother & Sister are napping. I told Brother he had ONE minute before nap. He walked in his room and said "I ready for a nap now." He climbed in his bed and was out cold in under 5 minutes.

I did tidy up a bit, but being off 3 mornings this week has really put me behind on getting stuff done! There is a grocery list, but I don't know when I will have time to go to the grocery! Tomorrow morning will be my first opportunity. The kids have early dismissal, but I will have from 9-11 AM to get stuff done. They aren't having dinner at home tonight, and they don't bring lunch to school tomorrow, so they really just have to cover breakfast. I just took a new loaf of bread and a new package of bagels out of the freezer, there are eggs, I think they can manage. There is no milk but the kids go all weekend without ever touching the milk so one morning shouldn't be a problem.

just giving a heads up that i probably will not be on this weekend. we are throwing my dad a surprise birthday party saturday and i get to entertain my aunt and uncle all day tomorrow till about 3 then they have to head to the hotel or where ever to stay away from my dad. my brother will be staying where the computer is so i will not be on till late sunday or even monday.

one other thing could you please put marsha gonzoles(sp) on your prayer list. she is my moms coworker and just found out she has breast cancer. i think they scheduled a lumpectame for friday. they are going to place something in her breast to see if it has spreed once they take the lump out.
