We met him at Hoop De Doo Revue last month. He goes there often, several nights in a row, multiple shows per night, when he's in WDW--even has his own table right up front! He knew all the songs and sang along and is a very nice man: very friendly & willing to discuss his tattoos when he noticed us looking. He has a website: www.disneytattooguy.com and told us he has every character from every park, movie and show in all of Disney, some more than once!

Even has a hidden Mickey in his hair :thumbsup2

NO. You will NOT get in any "trouble" whatsoever for having a Disney tattoo visible in the parks.

Granted, a tattoo artist could get in trouble for tattooing any copyrighted character or artwork (Disney or not) on you... but NO, you will not get in any trouble for having a Disney character tattooed on your body.

Honestly, I have no idea where he gets this from. I guess he feels that having a Disney tattoo makes him "special" and seeing other people with Disney tattoos takes that feeling away from him.

It just occurred to me that Disney Management might ask someone with a Disney tattoo in poor taste to cover it up (i.e. a topless Princess, for example), but I imagine they'd likely do that for anyone sporting a tattoo in poor taste.

::yes::

He probably wants to be the only obe with Disney Tattoos, most likely for the attention.. :confused3 I mean, getting them because he loves Disney is part of it, but I'm sure another part of it is the attention. Look at the pictures of his house! I loved it- but I don't know if I'd want to wake up looking to that every single morning. :confused3

Please don't flame me, but this was a "what the...?" moment for us. I was getting off the bus via the ramp (paraplegic) when I saw this family walk by. They were wearing the most neon, psychedelic, tacky tie-dye shirts I had ever seen. It would almost blind you when you looked directly at it. Granted, the probably wore them to keep up with each other, it was still still a "what the....?" moment.

No flames, but I think they look cute. But then again, I am into the matching t-shirt thing- just ask my unwilling family. :lmao:

Fake, it wasn't the matching shirts. It was how blinding they were. The picture doesn't do it justice.

I just got my first tattoo this past weekend, and of course it was a Disney one. ;) The guy who did my tattoo mentioned that he has other clients who have Disney tattoos, and some of them have reported to him that they were kicked out of the parks because of them. :confused3 I can't imagine that's true, though (unless they were somehow offensive tattoos that they refused to cover up). I mean heck, people wear homemade Disney shirts in the parks all of the time, and they aren't asked to leave. And that is a lot more of an obvious copyright infringement than a tattoo. Of course, this is just heresay from the tattoo artist, so who knows how much truth is in it. :confused3

No flames, but I think those shirts are very cute. We aren't a "matching shirt" kind of family, but i really like those. They'd be really cute with tie-dyed Mickey heads...:)

I have a tattoo of Tigger on my left arm and was pretty excited when I found George wandering around World Showcase. Actually, I was later informed that he does not wander. He follows the same path every single time. He is definitely a showman and is always on display. Anyway, I got a great picture with him with my arm exposed. He was almost rude when he told me that he was the only person who is legally authorized to have Disney tatoos and that I might want to cover mine up or I would get into some trouble. I always show my Tigger when in the World and have a few pictures with Tigger himself. With George around so much, it always surprises me when CM's approach me and get pictures.

Well, according to his website:

So I would say that he freely admits that he has NO LEGAL AUTHORIZATION to those images. Personally if he had said that to me I would have probably laughed in his face.

Funny:) . The thing is, we saw him walking around on one of our recent trips. DH took a picture of him, but it wasn't a good one. He appeared to be very unapproachable. He looked somewhat grumpy and acted as though he was a big celebrity. I pretty much decided there that this guy is a bit too big for his britches.

Maybe he had his mouse ears on too tight? :confused3

ok this is from disneyland but I tried to get pics and believe me there were LOTS of opportunities esp with it being the halloween weekend but this was one I was able to get.

Now you might be saying to yourself what is so odd about 2 people with mohawks but if you look close the one with the brown hair was a GIRL!! I had to do a double take. I was like HUH?????????

There was a LOT of WHAAAAAA. Saw tons of crazy stuff but I just couldn't get my camera out quick enough. Sorry. But I will be back in Dec so I will try to get more!

OMG, I was going to edit out that lady in Chrismb22's photo and was lightening the photo a little to see where I needed to take her out of and look what showed up:

It's disneydiva06's DH!!!! That must have been the same night or something!

:rotfl2: :rotfl:

Whaaaa? How did you know? I pulled that picture into Photoshop and applied the 'photoshopped in' filter to this picture and you will all never guess what showed up. It's DisneyDiva06's DH again!!!!!

epcot1.jpg

If that's this lady's "companion" then where is DisneyDiva06??????

I am laughing so much I have tears...literally, lol!! This is the best thread!!!

You know, it's funny you should say something like that. I offered a better fix for her photo if she would send me the original at a higher resolution. After I started to clean it up a bit, I noticed that she had a few more problems with the pic so I figured I should share:

:rotfl: :rotfl2: :lmao:
thank goodness its quiet at work here today, I'd be getting some funny looks laughing so hard that I'm crying at all these great pics, lol

The group shot is FABULOUS!! The little girl in the snow suit just makes it. I get so excited when I see there's a new reply on this thread.

I saw the group shot the other day but didnt get it until I read all 94 pages this morning :lmao:

That is exactly what I was thinking...maybe they have tye-dyed Mickey heads on the fronts! I like 'em! But don't go by me. I wear crocs with socks and I liked the primary color striped tennis shoes that one guy was wearing. :)
