Towel baby Couple and teddy Bear lady

Towel Baby is a very unique couple, although I have not seen them, I have heard plenty of stories on my entertainment CPs. The way I always heard it, both of the people have some kind of mental challenge (possibly mental retardation). They lost a child in infancy, and now they carry the towel baby around. They want the CMs to treat the child as real and get upset when they don't. For the most part they are harmless.

I have not heard of Tattoo Guy or Yeti Man. My "favorite" by far is Linda Skywalker (although I hear these days she likes to be known as Linda Effron.)

I have to ask, does Linda believe she was in SW, or that she is married to the actor who played Luke [and them wouldn't she be Hamill?] or is it something else and y'll just nicknamed her Skywalker [now maybe Effron]?

She legally changed her last name to Skywalker, would come for all of the Star Wars Weekends (and then some) with her own homemade outift, and would constantly visit Luke and Leia. A few years ago she "divorced" Luke and started fixating on Ron Stoppable. I've heard that at that time she liked to be known as Linda Stoppable, but I don't think she legally changed her name again. Right now I've heard her new fixation is High School Musical and she wants her last name to be Effron.

Tattoo guy came to PI when I worked there last year during my College Program! He had soooooooooooo many tattoos!!!

There are many "colorful" characters that frequent WDW in addition to these. There's a guy who generally where two different colored canvas "hi-top" basketball shoes and watches the daytime parade from in front of the barbershop. He really gets into it, he has a great time.

And, then there is the guy who tries to be the first person in line at the Haunted Mansion each day. I've not actually seen this guy, but was told the story by a HM CM.

There is a couple (no towel baby) that I have seen at the AC nearly every time I've been there. I generally go about 5 to 6 times a year.

On second thought perhaps I will blame every WDW faux paus on Towel Baby. That smell in the elevator...musta been Towel Baby. Flash photos being taken in a dark ride....you guessed it, Towel Baby.

I feel sorry for the towel baby couple and teddy bear lady - my cousin only stays at GF when his family visits a few times a year so I'll have to ask him if they've ever seen them.

It was funny that I came across this post. In November, when we were to have dinner at the GF, our kids were looking at the Gingerbread House and my daughter (5) pointed out the funny lady with all the teddy bears. At first I thought she was a cast member, but then realized she was a guest. My daughter wanted to check out her bears, so we stayed close with her. She was very nice. Never thought I would read about her, just figured she was one of the crazies I work with everyday.

The towel baby was white and it had a little blue scooby doo hat on the last time I saw it...so I guess its a boy. I have some pics of it somewhere. It was so funny. We were at the GF getting ready for dinner, saying that we wished we would see the towel baby people, and like 2 mins later they walked by. Friends of ours that were with us didnt believe us until they saw it themselves. I wanted to follow them around and just watch tem ...but no one else wanted to do it with me, lol.

I think I may have seen Linda Effron....is she a person who would be wearing a High School Musical cheerleading uniform. Thinish woman with brown hair? She had even red paw print socks and a "cheerleading bag" with poms coming out. My husband saw her and said she looks a bit old to be a CM and we watched her a bit...I said a CM would not be unescorted like that I do not think and then she stopped and talked to 2 plain clothes CMs and by that time was carrying a Narnia purse and had a laminated pic of something Narnia from the newspaper she was talking to them. I did take a pic of her....sorry I could not help myself, it may not be good, I was trying to be discreet.

Has anyone seen the "Schoolgirl"? She is kind of short, and wears a Burberry striped print skirt and I think has some sort of book bag? I can not remember many details, but I saw her quite a few times at the GF and in the parks.
