Great to have you back! I can't wait to hear about your trip!

Here's a picture of me in my tiara, since Teresa and I are practically the same person.
1-9-08Mewearingcrown2.jpg

I totally CASEd you and bought that tiara right after you posted that photo the first time. I think we should wear them to Luke and Tessa's wedding! Poor Lily keeps going crazy every time she sees it in my closet, she WANTS it and she can't have it! :rotfl2:

ETA: maybe I should go put it on to clean up the sugar in my kitchen, it would probably help

You CASED my tiara! :rotfl2: I won't let Tessa wear mine either. :snooty:
Sugar on the floor?! What a mess! Definitely wear the tiara for a job like that! "Just 5lbs of sugar makes the medicine go down, the medicine go doooown....."

I just went looking for a picture of Morgan in a tiara. I found a REALLY funny one of her asleep on the "throne" :lmao: But she won't let me post it.

I dont own a tiara.....just let that settle in for a moment.

Actually I have this really amazing one from my wedding- does that even count though? I wouldnt wear it to a park- Id be to afraid it would fall off my head.....got these awesome, yet painful shoes to match it too.

Okay- here are a couple pics for today. Which I feel guilty posting because I havent read the last 140 pages to catch up yet...

Waiting for a table at 50s Primetime (got so many compliments on this dress)

Back door to Epcot- Chipmunks felt very badly they made Megan cry

We did not stand in line to meet her-my favorite, but I snapped this pic in case anyone needed it for reference for "caseing"

After returning from MGM on our arrival day Mickey Mouse surprised DH and DD with gift baskets

I forget which day this was- but here they are in their matching outfits

Crystal- I made sure to make something with this just for all the trouble you went thru to get the fabric to me- cant see the bow in this pic

heres a pic of the back (please excuse my sad excuse for a part on her head- I just dont do well with wiggly 2yr olds)

Hi Girls, just checking in. I left on page 172, needless to say I have so much to catch up on.
Our flight was delayed an hour and then sat on the runway for another hour on our way home (now WHY couldnt that have happened on our flight out??)
I skimmed quickly and saw an amazing Donald outfit and a fab princess dress for the BIG GIVE- you gals are awesome.

TeresaJoy- post a pic HERE of you wearing your tiara.

I have 2 suitcases unpacked- just mine left to do. Totally tired.
I'll try and get some pics loaded to webshots so ya'll can see.

Oh- and no pregnancy yet, so we will just have to try again. Say a prayer for us all next week ;)

Sorry about the no pregnancy thing. We didn't get the result we wanted either.:worried: :worried: :worried: On to month 8!

I finished my Donald Duck outfit. This was not my original idea - I was going to make a sailor dress similar to those posted before. I decided against that and went with a pattern I am familiar (and comfortable) with - CarlaC's a-line. I went to Joann's to get fabric and found some great stripe fabric along with coordinating blue and yellow. I get ready to cut and decide I don't want the stripe anymore. I still used the yellow and the blue fabric but went in a different direction.

I showed DH the appliqué on the shorts and asked him what he thought it was. He said fish. I reminded him this was a Donald Duck outfit then he said, "Oh, feet! That is really cute."

Note: I did not appliqué Donald's face. That was an eBay buy.

I LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So cute and I LOVE the feet!
And because I am happy with how it turned out, here is Lauren's room in our new house. I made the curtains and the pillowcase on the bed. The quilt was also handmade by a friend of my mothers.

Here is a Minnie dress I just finished. I am grateful for the daisy tutorial. I almost put a Mickey head with a bow, but decided the flower would dress it up more! I was working with a remnant and the dots are not quite straight, but she won't care.

I spent most of the day typing touring plans on 4x6 cards. The closer the trip gets, the more I think of to do!

cutie cute cute!!

And, just because I am still up, I thought I'd share with you all a little story.

On Monday, I got to my meeting and was getting out of my van. One of the other sisters was arriving at the same time. She looked at me and said, "OOOhhh, you are a PRINCESS!" My hand IMMEDIATELY shot to my head to see if I'd left a tiara on, then I looked down at my shirt to see if I'd forgotten to take off some of the red ribbons that I had sewn on my blue shirt while we were in Florida.

Perplexed by my odd behavior, the sister then pointed to my van and said, "Your antenna topper. It's a crown."

:headache:

So how many "normal" adult women would shoot their hand to their head to see if they are wearing their crown, then check to see if they are still dressed as Snow White??

:lmao: :rotfl2: :rotfl:

I had completely forgotten about the totally cool Princess Crown antenna topper I had bought at Disney World!

:dance3: :dance3: :dance3:

:rotfl2: loves it!

wow, that is so cute!!! I love the dotty wall!!!

I decided at the last minute to make an outfit for Emma to wear on the last day of school tomorrow. It is hawaiian day and I had this fabric on hand so I went with it rather than buy more. I thought I would include the second pic to show you what I was dealing with - LOL - I haven't attached the Yo-Yo yet and my dog kept stealing it and running off!

very sweet!! I love flowers and ruffles!!!

Lookie what DH brought home last night!!!!!

puppy005.jpg

We've been talking for a few weeks about getting a new puppy (and I'd like to publicly thank JHAM for once again inspiring us! I believe it was your pics of Sunny Isabella that inspired DH to get back on the dog bandwagon!!!! )

As if 7 children weren't enough, we thought we'd add a puppy into the chaos! Are we INSANE? Don't answer that!

So far, he seems to be about the most chill puppy I've EVER seen! He is super mellow and LOVES to be held and snuggled with (MY FAVORITE!). He's 8 weeks old and he's a miniature shnauzer and beagle mix (kinda crazy, huh?).

I came home last night (after going to WalMart to get food and stuff for the little guy) to find these two....

That's dd12...she about FLIPPED when DH brought the puppy home! We were all surprised! I was actually heading out the door to play Bunko and DH walks in with this little guy in his arms...I was bawling! Such a sweet surprise!

I think he's going to be a good addition to our family!

Anyway! Just had to share...I know there are a lot of dog/puppy lovers around here!

I am such a sucker for the HOUNDS!!! What a dolly!! Be forewarned...Beagles DIG and they howl and they are just as naughty as the dickens but they will LOVE YOU to the ends of the earth!!! Oh...and your bed will now be the dog's bed. It's a hound rule actually. It is. seriously. ::yes::

Great to have you back! I can't wait to hear about your trip!

Here's a picture of me in my tiara, since Teresa and I are practically the same person.

WOW...really? Totally clueless over here! He did some "howling" last night when we put him in his crate...seems like his previous owners were CLUELESS...my DH went to look at him and said, "there was no way I could leave him there"...apparently the house was very dirty and there was a 3 year old who really liked the dog (if ya catch my drift  )...he's just as sweet as can be and super mellow :-)confused: )...of course, we'll see how long that lasts! Thanks for the info! Luckily, my husband is a VERY diligent trainer and I know he'll have this pupper in ship shape ASAP...good thing because I have ZERO idea how to train a dog :-)scared1: :scared1: :scared1: ) and I NO likey the accidents in the house! :worried:

awww poor baby! I'm glad he was rescued! As for the howling in the crate...my little doxie howled like MAD when we first got him. Would NOT stop. And I did what I said I'd never do...I took him to bed with us and he quieted down and went right to sleep. He slept with us for about a week...then I put him in his crate and put the crate on a chair so he was at eye level with me and close to the bed. He could see us and was close. He whimpered a bit...but did go to sleep. He still sleeps in our room in his crate, but on the floor next to the bed. Your little guy may need some comforting body closeness for a bit to get settled but he'll get the hang of his crate soon! And don't let anyone tell you that crates are "cages". They aren't. Dogs feel secure in their crates as it activates their denning instinct. Crates keep dogs safe and secure! We've had our baby nearly three years and he still goes into his crate when we leave the house. He has a snooze and we know that he's not getting into stuff!!!

he looks like a darling little soul!! congrats on your new baby! Your husband is that dog's HERO for life!!!:goodvibes

Cuteness! I saw you guys on Friday at MK- you were there right? I saw a teeny thing in a minnie dot dress outside of winnie the pooh around 1ish, I think that was the time. I wanted to stop and chat, but our fastpasses were quickly expiring and I couldn't keep Cooper from the "honey pots" any longer. She was ADORABLE!!!

LOVE the tiaras ladies. I'd post a pic of me wearing mine but sadly I was married before digital cameras :) I will say that I wear it...and my wedding gown...quite frequently (for dress up with DD). Hey, I proved DH wrong that I shouldn't spend too much money on it since I'd never wear it again :rotfl2:

Good to know! I'm a sucker for this little guy! I'm a FIRM believer in the crate! I had a Boston Terrier a few years back and learned all about the crate training! They love it (or learn to)...Pupper's out in his crate right now and having a snooze...no howling/whining this time! :woohoo: :woohoo:
We don't have a name yet....ACK! We keep calling him "her" too...pooor thing's going to have a major identity crisis here pretty quick! We were planning on adopting a girl (so she'd stay smaller...but this little guy will probably stay relatively small with the mini schnauzer...we're hoping anyway!) and it's just kinda stuck! My sweet DH is such a sucker for dogs, especially those in distress! Just melts my heart!
ANYWAY! I'm soooo with you on crating them when you go out...it's good for them and you know you won't come home to any "surprises"!!!! :scared1:

She is so cute in all of her customs. I love the Minnie Dot pictures also. Your dress is so cute with all of those colors on it.

I agree with the whole crating issue. I don't think it would have worked with Tinkerbell though, because she is very afraid of everything including the crate that we bought her. Now Roxie is another story. She needs to be crated. The only problem with that dog is that she knows how to get out of her crate. She actually unlocks her crate all the time. We have to put a pillow in front of hers to keep her in it other wise doggy messes everywhere. Oddly enough she was paper trained before we got her.

She gets out on her own? WOW! That is one smart dog! What breed is Roxie? Crates are awesome! I hadn't owned a dog in about 10 years prior to my Boston and had never crate trained...I'm a total believer now! Saves your sanity and it's soooo good for the dogs! They need their little cave/space just like humans! And they need to feel that safety and security...keeps everyone happy!

Wonderful pictures!!!! I love that first dress. What was the top made from?

Sorry about the no pregnancy thing. We didn't get the result we wanted either.:worried: :worried: :worried: On to month 8!
 and :wizard: Took us years for my oldest and surgery and 6+ months each time for the next 2. :wizard:

I love hearing all the doggie stories!!

When we first brought Zoey home from the SPCA, we werent quite sure what to do!! We started with a cardboard box -she got out of that - then we tried a baby gate in the kitchen - she somehow climbed over that - then we tried putting her in the bathroom which had a bifold door -she figured out how to use her paws to bang open that door!!! AHHHH and this was a little 6 pound doggie!!! Then we got a crate - life was easy after that. Now we have a little foam dog house in our bedroom, and she LOVES it!!! We always called her cage her house, and her carrier for the airplane her bus - they sound much nicer - lol!!!:rotfl2:

Best wishes for the new puppy, Im so happy that you rescued him!!!

:rotfl2: THAT would be the Doxie in Miss Roxie!! They are wily little boogs and they can figure out how to open just about ANYTHING. My pup figured out how to get the pantry door open...when it's LOCKED. They are so smart and if they are unhappy with something, they'll figure out how to get out of it!!!

on the plus side...their little hound faces are just too cute to be mad at!

When my puppy is naughty though, I am tough...not playing any games...OH NO...he gets a LONG time out...on my lap...

makes him VERY sorry.

it does.

seriously.

:thumbsup2
