Yes she was "hopping" like Tigger because she just got a Tigger hat and had a Pooh stuffy in her arm (experiencing her first retail therapy) and DH was video taping it all, that sure was us! Too funny!

Oh, and heres a little secret- FPs NEVER run out- we used ours from our Oct trip and they worked just fine. shhhhh it's a secret. Collect FPs when you are leaving a park so you have them for when you go back, the next day, next week, next month, next trip....

As soon as the puppy has some months under his belt sign him up for agility classes! Beagles love it, terriers love the tunnels and chutes! Most bark their way thru the course. We even have some doxies in our classes- minis too- they are a hoot!

I have like 3 labs coming in from GA, a lab-golden mix, a black lab female and we are still trying to pick the 3rd, totally stinks, theres they beautiful choco lab-dobbie mix with gorgeous yellow eyes, but we are not longer allowed to accept doberman mixes....
ya'll just give me a holler if ya wanna adopt!

after seeing the new Playhouse Disney LIVE we visited the gift shop across the way, the cast member there wanted to create a "magical moment for us" and offered to put Megan in with all the animals- and picked Megan up to put here there- that was the end of it, all tears. I felt bad for the CM-she was such a sweet older lady and was trying to be so nice


This dress and the Mickey/Pluto dress were purchased on ebay- out of print fabrics


the outfit she got sick on on the way to the airport was washed (hand washed in cold and the water turned BLUE) and ready to wear again on our last day

oh that chocolate pup is DARLING!!!! He wont' have a bit of trouble getting a home I'll bet!!

How come y'all can't accept Doberman mixes?! My granddad raised and showed Dobermans for YEARS...they really are a gentle loving breed. It's sad that they have a bad reputation. Poor pups!

Last post figured you guys can laugh at me since you have cried with me too! I went to Dallas today for Alex's wheelchair evaluation which honestly made me come close to a stroke when they started quoting prices. They have without a doubt said enough to scare me. That is another story!

Anyway this morning we were going to the aquarium before we went because we have Zoo membership here and they are a sister zoo to our zoo so we get a discount. DS 1 lost his shoe that he was going to wear this morning we only have one pair of go out shoes if that makes sense. Anyway I cannot find it anywhere we are REALLY late getting started and I say forget it I will stop at the osh gosh outlet in terrell and get some there. So I make it there (almost 2 hours away) and realize when I go to pay I have NO bank card! Then I reach for a check .... I am flipping out! DH and I last night took all the CC's out our wallets and well apparently when I did that I took out my bank card too! My heart sank, I am 2 hours away from home with 5 kiddos and no money except for the small amount of cash and change I keep in the SUV for the car wash etc. Probably had 30 maybe 40 bucks total to my name! Thankfully about 6 months ago DH threw a fit and wanted to change banks to someone who is national and not local! I was able to find a bank near me (half hour away) and go in and take my drivers liscense and get cash out!!! I know my head has not been in the right place this week but I was shocked I did this. I felt like the biggest Dumb well you know the word lol. The kids of course at least the older ones who understood how stupid it was thought it was HYSTERICAL!

We ended up goign to the Bass Pro shoppe which they loved and by golly we did see some fish lol. After Alex's appointment we stopped at the Disney store which made me REALLY sorry I had given up my CC's the night before. They are going out of bussiness in 9 days. Course the deals were not stellar or anything though. I did get DD 4 one of the pettis for 17 bucks. Which I probably could have done better but I was happy with. I am just dissapointed I now will have to reroute my trip to go to Plano to the only Disney store up there now!

Well I was going to share a picture of all the kiddos today but blast I do not have one! Not sure how that happened. Here is DD 14 and DD 4. My best friends DD who is 5 was scared to death of the big bear. Course Isaiah my 1 year old was automatically Mommy and pointing! I told him Big Bear and he just kept repeating even made me go let him pet it lol.

OK I lied last question does anyone know where I can get DD 4 a petti in either red or black or white before Dec? All the places I have been told about we are already to far out to order from.

I also forgot to mention tht DH called me about 7 tonight to let me know he had found DS 1's nikes .... he had apparently thrown one in the trash. Which is his new thing to do with EVERYTHING! We are moving the trashcan now lol. I just have to rearrange the poor cat in the morning to make room for it lol.

Everythings cut...... Now to get that sewing machine up and humming again. Man do I wish I could just leave my machine set up!! Well I could but I don't have a tv down in the basement!! I like catching up on my dvr shows while I sew.

That is so cute. Ok when you get done there you can come here and help me. I have four shirts almost cut out and then today, because I sold my old car finally, I went and bought more fabric and I would like to have these two dresses that I came up with, while half asleep, done this weekend. It seems that I have the best ideas for sewing when I'm half awake. Isabelle's dress came into my mind while I was half awake one morning. Is that weird?

Morning!

To the one who just got the new puppy congratulations!

We have 2 Rhodesian Ridgeback puppies. Well not really puppies anymore our oldest is 10 and the baby is going to be 2 in a few weeks. We crated them both when theyw ere young. Our old man stopped using the crate at less then a yr with no issue. He roamed the house when we were gone no problem. Then we got our baby Daisy! Oh MY she is a spit fire! She is great when we are home but if we leave her for more then 2 hours out she shreds things! We were really trying to let her have free roam so when we go to WDW we can jut get a pet sitter and not put her in a kennel. Well that isn't working out too well! I think she even realizes she needs to be crated when we go out because if she hears me tell teh kids to put their shoes on she walks right into the crate! Hopefully in a few months we can try leaving her out again because i REALLY don't want to kennel her when we are away I want her home with her brother. So we will see.

I have a ??? I mentioned yesterday how much I LOVE those pettiskirts. I really want to get one fro my DD well actually my mom wants to get her one but we don't want to spend an arm and a leg! Do any of you have a good place to get one?

I had a big 'ol multi-quote with thoughts of doing lots of and . Then, Tessa came over and hugged me and said "Why do you like being on the internet instead of playing with me? So, of course, now I have to get offline!!

I just wanted to answer the questions directed at me. I bought my tiara at disneyshopping.com (they were also at the Disney Stoer). I don't think they sell them anymore. It came as a set- the crown and wand. But, the different princess themed crowns were sold seperately.

For all of you that think you're too cool for a tiara, you're just fooling yourselves!

Campbell Scott- Labs4Rescue had to stop accepting dobbies, chows, pit, rottie, german shep mixes because we were getting too many returns- like 6 mon to a year later. I too think dobermans are great and I personally have Jessie- a yellow lab, shep mix I pulled for a shelter in Zainesville OH who is the sweetest. There are 1 or 2 rescues that broke off from our group to help out the more mixed labs, while Labs4rescue still focuses on "high mixes" to be honest, there are soooo many full blooded or high mixes in shelters, animal control and pounds that we needed to create a charter that defines our group and it's purpose- its easy to want to pull everyone, but better to stick to the one breed we know. Even with narrowing down there are still more labs out there than we can help (and we have about 125-150 dogs ALL the time)

the pup is a doxie-choc lab mix (I dont think Id call it an high mix, but the puppy factor plays in here)

I'll give you one to beat that...it's really funny because I didn't do it! After DH's mother passed away we were in charge of her estate. So, you know the drill, you keep the estate account open for a year and after a year you can close it out. So after the year was up, he went to the bank and told the teller that he needed to close the account out...she told him no problem...he just neede to go to the bank accros the street! He about fell down laughing!

I don't have a tiara. I wore a beaded headband at my wedding, I was very concerned that people would be looking at me too much.

I wore a headband too. Mine was more because we got married in our back yard. But if I put on my relly ugly "no" gown...DS4 calls me princess. funny little guy! Maybe I should get a tiara to wera with that!

Yeah, and apparently I didn't know that pink eye also makes your nose run, her face has been leaking all day!! And WHY are moms the only parents who love their children enough to sit on them to give them their medicine...Hey Jeanne where's that sugar when I need it

Also, the particular flavor of pink eye that has been going around these parts comes w/ a wicked ear infection so we are on precautionary Amoxil as well.

I totally have to sit on my kids for eye drops. And my DS6 ALWAYS gets an ear infection with pink eye. If anybody within a mile of him has pink eye...he gets it. Hope she feels better now!

I was going to tell you that you can live an amazingly long time without A/C, but I see you are already getting it fixed!!!

Nope can't live without AC! It will be 100 here today! I grew up in a house without AC and I remeber the day when I was 18 that my mom had had enough! She went and bought an AC! We laid in the floor directly under it for at least an hour! I always had to walk from the bus stop to my house (about a mile!) and in NC spring is terrible...it will be COLD in the morning and blazing hot in the afternoon. So the short of it...must have AC!!!!

you can check ebay for decently priced pettis. Also Disneyshopping.com has their version of a princess petti. It's not as full, but it's still really cute! LOTS of people have gotten one for their little girls...very decently priced!

I THOUGHT that baby face had some hound dog familiarity in it!!! Everyone should own a doxie in their life...they are such wonderful dogs!!!

I think it's wonderful that you do all the work you do on behalf of unwanted dogs out there. Dachshund Rescue is also a VERY active group. They will go pick up doxies from pet stores and shelters. I think the pups in those horrible mall pet shops are far worse off than dogs in shelters. Those stores make me ill. Jay won't let me near them anymore b/c there is ALWAYS a dachshund or two and they look so depressed and sad and I want to rescue them and I can't and it's just too much all around. The kicker is, even if you feel like you are "rescuing" a dog from pet store, really you are helping to keep the puppy mills in business. It's a definite catch 22.

The fireworks one will be shorts for DD8. The white cherry fabric will be shorts for DD5 and he blue cherry and daisy fabric will be PJs for DD5.

Plus I got some cool purple and green fabric for shears to go with the purple and silver star valance I'm going to make for DD8's bedroom. Very HMish!

5)Should be able to do what they want
