Perfection! You did such an awesome job on it, I know Isabelle will love it. The appliqué looks great to me and that fancy topstitching: you are too cool for school!

That child is gorgeous! She needs to be modeling, seriously!

I ALMOST FORGOT! I had pictures of my babies taken the Saturday before we left and they are GORGEOUS! If you want or are bored you can view them at http://www.kaybrownphotography.com/mp_includes/index.asp! On the right side click on order/view pics, then click view all events and we are the first one listed: Adkinson!

Those pictures are great, I would have ordered them all too. When we lived in Milton we went to photographer in Pace, I wonder if it's the same one. Our pictures weren't that fancy but Megan was fussy the whole time and she still got great pictures.

It looks great! I love what you did to the jeans.

Speaking of laughs...I'm having a totally mommy moment as I'm typing this. DD has bronchitis and an ear infection so I kept her home from day care today...which means we cuddled on the couch watching Disney movies all day. DD finally let me get up and check my email (and Disboards of course) and she ended up falling asleep sitting up next to me. But I just realized that I'm still singing along to HSM2 and she's asleep! Why am I leaving this on the TV????

Dude, I have caught myself singing along to Mickey Mouse Clubhouse and then realized the kids are at school and I don't have to listen to kid stuff! :thumbsup2

This is awesome! I wish I was sewing when my kids were both little and could do matching outfits. They will look so precious together!

Totally cute! I love the daisy. I tried it once and didn't get it right and never tried again. It looks so cute with the covered button in the middle.

So stinkin' cute! It looks perfect and Isabelle won't want to take it off, I am sure. I hope she gets to see Donald in it.

Her room is so bright and cheerful, I love it. Megan's room is still halfway between her nursery and what she wants now. I really need to get on that. I love the big circle stickers.

Look at those ears! One false move and that yoyo is gonna get it! :rotfl2: Sooo cute!

I am not very good with glue guns either but I can safely say I've never laid one on my leg! I did burn a first grader (twice!) with glue gun activities I was assigned to do with the kids. After the second time I asked her if I could be excused from all future glue gun crafts. Hope you feel better soon: at least the bows came out great!

Beautiful! I love the different takes on the pink Cinderella. She will love it!

Cute! I loved all the pictures, it looks like you had a great time!

DON'T OWN A TIARA???How do you clean your house????? Your wedding Tiara totally counts, that's the one I clerian in(SEE ID PHOTO). I figure I paid 150 bucks for it I'd better use it more than once:rotfl:

I had an animal print mickey ears headband I WAS wearing to the parks but it is totally missing so I will have to get a play tiara.
LOVE THE TIARA PICS, HEY where's Steph's?????I expect one from Jeanne when she gets back
p.s. have a great trip.

AM too too busy to catch up. But the outfits have been great LOVED the dalmation and donald and TRIP PHOTOS, YAY!!! Love everyones babies too. That includes puppies, that I have to love from afar as DH won't let us get one yet.

See, I thought I'd posted the forgoten tiara...I was just re-posting, for um... the newbies, yeah...sure..

Okay, I am sorry I've been absent. Little has come down w/ pink eye and I am in a crunch to get some outfits turned out. I also had a foot dr. appt. had to fight w/ the ins. about my coverage (and how I "conveniently" picked up comp and collision I hadn't previously had on the same day as my accident:worried: ) and I had to find a dress for a wedding that I forgot I had to go to on sunday.

In good news. I'll get to see my baby cousin on sunday- he is home safely from Iraq!

See ya real soon!!!(most likely monday!)

I did not have a tiara for my wedding - only a "jeweled" comb. But I wear my Minnie Mouse ears headband when I clean. Cheers me right up.:thumbsup2

I don't have a tiara. :( I wore a beaded headband at my wedding, I was very concerned that people would be looking at me too much.

Pink eye sucks! Poor Little, hope she feels better soon. Find a pretty dress! Tell that insurance company to bite you (kidding, sort of). Great news about your cousin!

Was that everything? You sure are busy!

Yeah, and apparently I didn't know that pink eye also makes your nose run, her face has been leaking all day!! And WHY are moms the only parents who love their children enough to sit on them to give them their medicine...Hey Jeanne where's that sugar when I need it:rotfl2:

Also, the particular flavor of pink eye that has been going around these parts comes w/ a wicked ear infection so we are on precautionary Amoxil as well.:(

Back to my pattern printing!

It is agree'd mickey headbands will due in lieu of a tiara.

I love the tiara photos. I don't have one nor Minnie ears. I can't believe I'm so underprivileged. LOL

Linette, I hope your burns heal quickly! Those look like they are very painful. I'm a real baby when it comes to burns.

Well, I've been keeping busy yet again. I'm not sure what I'm going to do when Zoe's out of school and I won't have those few hours alone any more. She is signed up for a school summer program in July so that will help. :)

I made this tee yesterday as a test of a new design. As you might notice, once again I'm trying to go bigger with the appliqué. LOL

mickey_patriot1.jpg

I also did these for a friend. She'd asked for the Cat tee and jeans. Once the jeans were done, I realized they'd be perfect with a patchwork Mickey silhouette on a tee so threw that in as a surprise. She'll be doing photos of her son in them to help me out so I wanted to so a little extra for her.

cat_hat_deco1.jpg

 and NO that wasn't everything I also took DH lunch, dropped off and picked up little's meds, stopped at Joanns (whose Juvenille fabrics were 60% off!!:cool1: ) went to my friend who does alterations to find out about adding straps to my semi strapless dress (for the wedding I forgot about)Went to the other side of town to a quilt shop, picked mac up from school and met w/ the insurance adjuster in person to get photos of the dent before all the animal hair was out of it....NOT NECESSARILY IN THAT ORDER, Now I am printing out some pattern pieces so that tomorrow I can cut out stuff for my Togs...The shabby chic dress ended up being for Lily, you know how that happens. I'll post pics sunday or monday

you sure are a cutie patootie!!!

I finished my Donald Duck outfit. This was not my original idea - I was going to make a sailor dress similar to those posted before. I decided against that and went with a pattern I am familiar (and comfortable) with - CarlaC's a-line. I went to Joann's to get fabric and found some great stripe fabric along with coordinating blue and yellow. I get ready to cut and decide I don't want the stripe anymore. I still used the yellow and the blue fabric but went in a different direction.

I showed DH the appliqué on the shorts and asked him what he thought it was. He said fish. I reminded him this was a Donald Duck outfit then he said, "Oh, feet! That is really cute."

Note: I did not appliqué Donald's face. That was an eBay buy.

LOVE IT!!! We love Donald in this house!

Lookie what DH brought home last night!!!!!

puppy005.jpg

He is too cute! You'll have to share pictures as he grows.

I am such a sucker for the HOUNDS!!! What a dolly!! Be forewarned...Beagles DIG and they howl and they are just as naughty as the dickens but they will LOVE YOU to the ends of the earth!!! Oh...and your bed will now be the dog's bed. It's a hound rule actually. It is. seriously. ::yes::

I have a great "cure" for digging in the yard. A friend told us about it and we thought it would never work, but decided to try... sure enough our lab/boxer mix stopped digging within a week. I won't post here (it's a little gross) but PM me if you want to know.

I agree with the whole crating issue. I don't think it would have worked with Tinkerbell though, because she is very afraid of everything including the crate that we bought her. Now Roxie is another story. She needs to be crated. The only problem with that dog is that she knows how to get out of her crate. She actually unlocks her crate all the time. We have to put a pillow in front of hers to keep her in it other wise doggy messes everywhere. Oddly enough she was paper trained before we got her.

Bella, my lab/boxer, can get out of her crate also. One day DH and I came home from work - we're in the garage getting things out of the car and I swear I can hear scratching at the door. I mention it to my DH and he laughs at me. Well, we open the door and who should be sitting there waiting for us?!? BELLA!! Of course DH blames me for not "properly" closing the crate... like it's that hard!! The next day I happened to be home from work and had put Bella in her crate for a little bit... no sooner do I go about my sewing and there she is next to me. So now we use a bungee cord on the top of the crate to keep it closed. (Learned to bungee cord across the top after she ate through the bungee cord we had on the side of the crate!)

She gets out on her own? WOW! That is one smart dog! What breed is Roxie? Crates are awesome! I hadn't owned a dog in about 10 years prior to my Boston and had never crate trained...I'm a total believer now! Saves your sanity and it's soooo good for the dogs! They need their little cave/space just like humans! And they need to feel that safety and security...keeps everyone happy!
Roxie is half doxie and half chiuahua. She is starting to look more like a chiuahua than a doxie.
:rotfl2: THAT would be the Doxie in Miss Roxie!! They are wily little boogs and they can figure out how to open just about ANYTHING. My pup figured out how to get the pantry door open...when it's LOCKED. They are so smart and if they are unhappy with something, they'll figure out how to get out of it!!!

on the plus side...their little hound faces are just too cute to be mad at!

When my puppy is naughty though, I am tough...not playing any games...OH NO...he gets a LONG time out...on my lap...

makes him VERY sorry.

it does.

seriously.

:thumbsup2
Yes Roxie gets lots of hugs....I mean time outs. She is so mischievious.

I love the tiara photos. I don't have one nor Minnie ears. I can't believe I'm so underprivileged. LOL

I love all of these. They are so cute. I especially love those pants.
Look at the cute Crab-People!!!:rotfl2:

When DH got home from work (I was at work so Roxie was crated) he informed me that even though I had put the pillow in front of Roxie's crate she had still gotten out. I think that I am going to have to get her a bungie cord and thanks for the tip to put it on the top. Tinkerbell has now started trying to help Roxie get out. :rotfl2: My dogs have too much personality if that's at all possible.

Cuteness! I saw you guys on Friday at MK- you were there right? I saw a teeny thing in a minnie dot dress outside of winnie the pooh around 1ish, I think that was the time. I wanted to stop and chat, but our fastpasses were quickly expiring and I couldn't keep Cooper from the "honey pots" any longer. She was ADORABLE!!!
Yes she was "hopping" like Tigger because she just got a Tigger hat and had a Pooh stuffy in her arm (experiencing her first retail therapy) and DH was video taping it all, that sure was us! Too funny!

Oh, and heres a little secret- FPs NEVER run out- we used ours from our Oct trip and they worked just fine. shhhhh it's a secret. Collect FPs when you are leaving a park so you have them for when you go back, the next day, next week, next month, next trip....

Everybody, Thanks all for the sweet compliments!!!!!!!

As soon as the puppy has some months under his belt sign him up for agility classes! Beagles love it, terriers love the tunnels and chutes! Most bark their way thru the course. We even have some doxies in our classes- minis too- they are a hoot!

and look who we have in our rescue for adoption.....(psst I think she's still in the South)
Bella #19

I have like 3 labs coming in from GA, a lab-golden mix, a black lab female and we are still trying to pick the 3rd, totally stinks, theres they beautiful choco lab-dobbie mix with gorgeous yellow eyes, but we are not longer allowed to accept doberman mixes....
ya'll just give me a holler if ya wanna adopt!

a few more pics...
This picture I think captures just how hot it was while we were there

after seeing the new Playhouse Disney LIVE we visited the gift shop across the way, the cast member there wanted to create a "magical moment for us" and offered to put Megan in with all the animals- and picked Megan up to put here there- that was the end of it, all tears. I felt bad for the CM-she was such a sweet older lady and was trying to be so nice

This dress and the Mickey/Pluto dress were purchased on ebay- out of print fabrics

the outfit she got sick on on the way to the airport was washed (hand washed in cold and the water turned BLUE) and ready to wear again on our last day

I think we should wear them to Luke and Tessa's wedding!

ETA: maybe I should go put it on to clean up the sugar in my kitchen, it would probably help

I'll wear mine too!!! I have the Cinderella, Belle, and Aurora ones!

Heather says she has something for the girls that came from Utah, but she FORGOT to bring it to McDonald's when we met up today! But, I wanted to thank you for being so sweet!!! Have a great trip!!! :moped:

I just went looking for a picture of Morgan in a tiara. I found a REALLY funny one of her asleep on the "throne" :lmao: But she won't let me post it.

:rotfl2: Poor Morgan!!!

I dont own a tiara.....just let that settle in for a moment.

Actually I have this really amazing one from my wedding- does that even count though? I wouldnt wear it to a park- Id be to afraid it would fall off my head.....got these awesome, yet painful shoes to match it too.

Okay- here are a couple pics for today. Which I feel guilty posting because I havent read the last 140 pages to catch up yet...

I love seeing the outfits!!! they all look so cute!!!!

Corey saw the Mary Poppins dress that they had restored in the Walt Disney exhibit (The Man and his Dream????) and told me that I should try to Case it! So, he took a whole bunch of pictures of it for me!!!
First of all, that boy has a lot of confidence in me,
second he said Case!
and
third, isn't he so sweet!

Sorry about the no pregnancy thing. We didn't get the result we wanted either. On to month 8!

Aww, I'm sorry for both of you! I remember how frustrating it is to have a negative pregnancy test when you really want it to be positive!
OMG! You guys are smokin' hot! :smokin: Okay...I wanna play!

2006-08-09_Jennifer_Hall_122.jpg

GORGEOUS!!! Every girl needs a tiara!!!

WOW...really? Totally clueless over here! He did some "howling" last night when we put him in his crate...seems like his previous owners were CLUELESS...my DH went to look at him and said, "there was no way I could leave him there"...apparently the house was very dirty and there was a 3 year old who really liked the dog (if ya catch my drift :he's just as sweet as can be and super mellow )...of course, we'll see how long that lasts! Thanks for the info! Luckily, my husband is a VERY diligent trainer and I know he'll have this pupper in ship shape ASAP...good thing because I have ZERO idea how to train a dog ) and I NO likey the accidents in the house!

My brother and Barbara have a beagle. They are NOT diligent trainers, it is NOT a good thing! Not good AT all! I'm glad your husband is a good trainer!

We learned this trip that Fastpasses don't really expire. Several CMs told us that they didn't care if you didn't make it before the timel was up. One told us they were good until the parked closed. I'd never heard that before.

LOVE the tiaras ladies. I'd post a pic of me wearing mine but sadly I was married before digital cameras :) I will say that I wear it...and my wedding gown...quite frequently (for dress up with DD). Hey, I proved DH wrong that I shouldn't spend too much money on it since I'd never wear it again
Scanner

And, you still wear it, so take us a picture!

(and your post once again proves that it can be dangerous to skim through posts! I read this:

I don't have a tiara. :( I wore a beaded headband at my wedding, I was very concerned that people would be looking at me too much.

Ok,I agree with Tifani Minnie Ears will do! Lydia bought a pair of Minnie ears with the veil on it when we were at Disney. They hurt her head though, so I wear them more than her!

These look great, I really love the Cat in the Hat one!!

Too cute!!! I love the googly eyes!

My Jack Russell Terrier is a crate escape artist too. I've taken to using carabiner clips. She can't chew them and there's no stretch to them. That or I just give her run of the basement when were gone.:rotfl:

I finished my Donald Duck outfit. This was not my original idea - I was going to make a sailor dress similar to those posted before. I decided against that and went with a pattern I am familiar (and comfortable) with - CarlaC's a-line. I went to Joann's to get fabric and found some great stripe fabric along with coordinating blue and yellow. I get ready to cut and decide I don't want the stripe anymore. I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE this! So precious. I love your DH's comment as well ... sounds SO familiar!

And because I am happy with how it turned out, here is Lauren's room in our new house. I made the curtains and the pillowcase on the bed. The quilt was also handmade by a friend of my mothers.

To cute I will have to show my DD who since last year goes by Lauren lol.

As if 7 children weren't enough, we thought we'd add a puppy into the chaos! Are we INSANE? Don't answer that!

Sweet sweet picture! My 4 are really gunning for a dog right now. I remind them daily that we have a cat that they do not spend any time with why would I think a dog would be any different?

I was thinking of making this to put in the car for trips....

I dont really want to make it out of fleece but is regular fabric sturdy enough

http://www.joann.com/static/project/0705/P139461.pdf

and of course i don't know how to get the picture on here but if you have time take a look.

Thanks :yay:

I need one of those! Actually I need like four of those for my expedition! :rotfl:

Have a new dress to show for the Big Give:

(one of the mother that I sew a graduation dress for did not like the idea of a halter dress for her daugther, so I gave her the first dress that I had made for the big give)

Love the tulle! So pretty!

We are going the first two weeks in December too!!! :cool1:

Hmmmmm I really want to organize a meet for those of us that are going the first of Dec!

Great to have you back! I can't wait to hear about your trip!

Here's a picture of me in my tiara, since Teresa and I are practically the same person.
th_1-9-08Mewearingcrown2.jpg
DD got that shirt for Christmas! I know that shouldn't shock anyone. Now where di I miss this tiara? DD does not have it yet ... don't you feel bad for her lol.

She's right!

:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

You are so cute!!!

Ok, here I am too!

th_DSCF3594.jpg
Blast another one she does not have! I assume this is a set?

Crystal- I made sure to make something with this just for all the trouble you went thru to get the fabric to me- cant see the bow in this pic
To stinking cute! Both the dress and the little one!

OK since we are close to make ADR's time I am going to ask about Dec. Does anyone want to do the Safari Grand Gathering on Dec 7th? It is DD's 5th bday and I really wanted to end it with this. We only need 3 people. There are 6 of us as of Dec we will be 37 34 15 13 5 and 1 almost 2. I do not think DS 1 counts toward the total though. Anyway if you are interested pm me please. I really do have pretty well behaved kiddos espeically in public lol.
