STAR WARS CHRISTMAS PAPER- I got it at Toys R Us. I am sure that I will be in there in the next few weeks. I would be happy to pick some up for you if you want to pay shipping. I have no idea how much that would be!

Oh, thanks for the offer! But we leave for WDW in 24 days!!! I'll make a stop and stock up on Star Wars paper.

Stephanie

This is something I just don't have the patience for!! Your doll clothes look great. :worship:
Thanks! That nightgown was SUPER easy!!!

Are you the one who made the quilted jackets? How do you do that? Do you use a sweatshirt as a base?

Add me to the list of disboutiquers looking for prayers and good thoughts.

I had a follow-up appointment today with my reproductive endocrinologist. It looks like the reason we are having fertility troubles is male factor infertility. We are devastated and my husband is just a mess. He feels so guilty and ashamed and embarrassed. The doctor says that IVF is our best chance now but I need to have more testing done next cycle in order for insurance to cover any of the IVF costs. And i not really sure I want to do IVF. It is a lot of stress for me to undergo all the shots and the procedures while taking care of my daughter. We have no local family so Lauren has to go to all the appointments with me (DH can't take all that time off). Please keep us in your prayers - I really want to "complete" my family and am having trouble staying positive.

ETA: We conceived DD naturally all on our own.
 So sorry. Do they know what is causing the problem with your DH? My DH had a varicose vein that was causing problems. They did laproscopic surgery (up high in his belly ;) ) and that did the trick. We did do IUI for oldest but the other 2 on our own.:wizard: :wizard: :wizard:

I bought a serger tonight! hehe...I got the janome juno 3434d from hancock fabrics. It was on sale for 199.99 I'm going to crack it open once Violette goes to bed and tinker with it! :D Wish me luck...lol...
:woohoo: Good luck!

C'Est vraiment juste pour me pratiquer!

I'm so very behind, but at least I have some sewing done to show for it (no pics yet though). for everyone & loads of prayers going out. I hope everyone has a much better day tomorrow.

Too cute! Have I ever told you how jealous I am of your polka dots stash? Seriously

I do not make fun. I just think of you (and/or Lily) every time I see polka dots. At JoAnn on Friday, I though, ohhhh Jeanne would like this, or maybe that- all polka dots. I love them too, just don't work really well on boys (says the mommy who makes her boys try on dresses. . .)

Which reminds me...I need a little help from some mice...Hey, I cut out and sewed together the stip parts for the Monsters Inc. skirt today! I'm trying to decide if I should attempt a Mike Wizowski applique myself. I need to go to your TR and check yours out again! I'm in trip planning mode!

I'm praying for you and your family

Well, praying, and screaming a little too!

I hope all is ok. Our prayers are being said and we hope will turn out ok. Take good care of yourself and when you are ready, let us know what is going on.:

Lots of prayers for your DS and your family.

Praying for your little boy.

I will add your baby boy to my prayers. I hope everything is all right.

Thank you all so much for your prayers and kind words. They mean the world to me!!! :cloud9:

Hi Ladies.

Thank you so much for all of the prayers and well wishes. I am home and I am doing fine. I am still in pain, but I am managing it with just ibuprofen. I am trying to take it easy :) My MIL has the princess, but the older three kids are home with me. They are being incredible sweet and helpful. My little Justin will not let me get up to do anything it is really sweet.

The surgery went well. It was a little more invasive than they first thought. I had some uterine polyps removes and also as much of the endo as they could. I was feeling horrible when I woke up. I guess I kept saying "I am not ever doing this again". Because when they took me to recovery I heard the nurse say "this is Lacy and she never doing this again ;)".
So glad to hear you are doing good and that the surgery went well. Yeah!!!

okay, it looks like that crabby air floated across to northern California overnight. I am in an EXTREMELY crabby mood today.

Okay, so thanks for the ears, for letting me share this, for letting me vent. Please pray for us every now and then; it's going to be a l o n g day.
Awww praying for your family!!!!!

I finished a t-shirt for the Big Give yesterday. I just decided to put his name on it because I couldn't think of anything else. Not as fancy as his sister's Cinderella dress, but I figure he isn't going for "fancy". :rotfl:

Heather...those turned out great!!!

Thank you dh birthday is May 6. The twins are may 26. It just bothers me that I cater to all of them on their special day I just wanted a little quiet time. That's all I ask. And I want you all to know today is our 8th anniversary. Since we had Megan I have never asked for anything for my bday or anniversary because I know christmas is around the corner and I rather it go to the girls. This year is even more important than any other
year there is just no money there.

I want to say thank you to all my friends. Friends for your kind words and support. I just have been so down that I don't even want to sew or go near that part of the kitchen.

Those of you who need prayers I will do my best. And send all the hugs and well wishes I can.

And thats to all of your colorful creations that I get to look at every day and think someday I might be able to make something that great. To all my friends
Aww I am sorry you are going through a tough time now too. I will be praying that things get better and better for you. Hugs to ya!

DH is making me make spread sheets for our trip and I don't know how :sad2: :rotfl: BUT, the info I have come up with so far is that Staying at the POR, using ME (and sticking one kid in my sister's room but still counting the cost of their ticket) and staying on-site is $34 more than JUST car rental, parking, and park tickets if we stay at the condo. And that is NOT including gas for the rental car. Hmmmm.....2 bedroom condo with washer/dryer, or POR...did I mention we hate driving?...
Way cool Jeanne....!!!! I say go for it!!! :goodvibes

Hi everyone! I have not been able to keep up or even lurk much but I wanted to share some good news! I have shared some of the problems Sydni has been having in school. Well, today she came home and told me that she had a talk with the other little girl. She said that she told her that it wasn't nice to laugh at others and she shouldn't be mean or rude to other people, because Jesus didn't like that!:thumbsup2 She said that the little girl said she was right and that she was sorry!:goodvibes Now they are friends!:flower3: I am so proud of Sydni for standing up for herself but in a positive way! I think she actually listened to all of the talks we had with her!:thumbsup2

On another note, could you please keep my cousin's son in your prayers! His surgery is tomorrow and it is an extremely dangerous surgery! TIA!
Sydni ROCKS...what a smart and brave little girl you have there. I am sure you are VERY proud!!!

My brother just got out of surgery. He lost a lot of blood, but the doctors don't think he'll need a transfusion. He has 3 drainage tubes and is in a lot of pain, but the doctors think it went well. He should be out of recovery in a couple of hours and then I'll know more.

Thanks for all the prayers. It really means a lot to me.
Ohh thanks for letting us know how his surgery went. I hope he starts to feel better soon. Keeping him and you in our prayers!

Awwww, I can feel your pain. I am so sorry you are going through all this. Keeping you in my thoughts and prayers as well.

Did you say MONSTERS INC???? Ohhhh I love Monsters Inc and can not wait to see your custom. I say definitely go for the applique because EVERYTHING you make is amazing and absolutely DARLING!!!! (Can't wait to see what you make with that red Mickey sheet fabric I posted awhile back.....LOL)

OK so those of you have made the coffee cozies, how long do you think it would take to make 20 of them? Do I need the pattern or an I do without? (though a coffee to get the sleeve and the pattern will cost me the same amount...)
I have about a week to make 20 cozies, 4 crayon roll ups, a twirl skirt and 25 christmas cards, and maybe something for a baby that is small and will be cheap to ship. Its a good thing my school is on strike and i have nothing to do all day...

You are too nice and have not seen anything close up...and I still have not received that Mickey sheet in the mail! :confused3  BUT I did accidently stumble upon something I have totally been coveting. I have been looking FOR EVER! I managed to get 1 yard of this:

now the challenge is what to make with only one yard! :confused3

Ok, I don't know what to do. I made Things 1-5 shirts for a big give and was shipping tomorrow. Just read on her trip report she bought the shirts. i was doing 20 shirts for a friend's family reunion trip, so she is going to take the ones left from the big give (now she's buying the stuff for me to make 6-20 for them) The mom made several matching family shirts for their wish trip, so now I don't know if i should make other shirts for the give or just sign up for 1 of the new ones??:confused3

I'm afraid with the shirts she has made and all the gret customs still coming her way, they will have too much to wear during their trip. What would you do???

Tracie

LOL....trust me, noone wants to look at the ones I make up close either. Hahaha. Ohhh I LOVE that fabric....hmmm...can't wait to see what you make with that as well.

Ohh and that Mickey sheet is in the mail, right along with my DD's measurements!! Hahahahah

Oh lord! I am back! Nope didn't go anywhere...but DH finally went back to work today. His boss extended his vacation 2 days becuase SHE felt like he needed to rest more! Um...did she check with me...maybe I thought he was ready to go back to work...leave me here...to do what I do! Ugh!

What a week you guys have had...I have lurked a little and skimmed really quick!

 Prayers for all of you in need...

for those fighting the math stuff...don't ask me...I am terrible at math and am afraid Katie is too....actually she is good at it, she just sikes herself out...but she is trying!

There have been so many beautiful things posted...love them all and fear my multi would hog the entire board.

T! Welcome to Minivan life!!! I so felt old when I got mine...but with three kids it is truly a life saver! I LOVE MY VAN! Plus, did you know you can fit a regular washer and dryer or say a riding lawn mower in the back of one of those things! Don't laugh...we do what we must!:lmao:

Which leads me to the next thing...my dryer died last week so I got a new set!:cool1: Okay...I know not that exciting but it is to me...my last set was old! So, we sprung for the Duet Sport models and I LOVE THEM!!!! The dryer is soooo fast! And the washer uses hardly any water! LOVE IT!!!!(no these will not fit in the minivan! Just the old set!)

Hmmm...what else...oh...I have to go camera shopping AGAIN! The kids...not sure which one...smashed the screen on the back of my camera!:headache: I am not happy! I just bought that thing in May! Ugh! But...I was thinking of upgrading before next year anyway...now I just have to do it early!

Other than that...life has been boring! I have started working on Christmas presents...I am trying to make as many as I can this year to save a little money...we shall see!

Okay...back to reading! :goodvibes

Aw, thanks! Some people make fun of it :snooty: :rolleyes1 some people that claim to be so happy...just sayin'

That many polka dots would make me happy.

Ok, where's the jealous smilie? I'm seriously considering ripping my girls dresses made of that apart when they can't wear them any more just so I can use the fabric again.

I was wondering if anyone else filled out the application for the 50 under $50 for YCMT? I am going to be on Team Kris. I did spy Tom's name on Team Carla.

And I so want this fabric and have been looking forever for it! Although I have NO use for it! I just LOVE it!
