Jeez Tracy is fast....I saw that Alicia posted a question on FiveAlive, so I did as well. And before I could even hit the submit button, She had answered Alicia's question--even with links!!

WOW!

we got 1" of snow last night (maybe) and schools are delayed 2 hrs. I need me some fun on a boat (and kids clubs!)

crazy, isn't it? And it's really coming down now- we might get another inch. wouldn't surprise me if they cancel the whole thing. :confused3

Wow. I wish I went to school in Maryland when I was younger....'round here it takes about 4"+ to even think about closing schools. Snow days are nice, but never frequent enough.:sad2:

Everyone is quiet today.

So Pete is on his way to DL....lucky guy. Even if he was up before the crack of dawn. Hope he has a good & safe trip.

Now just twiddling my thumbs for Will to put the show up.......

Good morning everyone. Just checking to see if we're still here.:wave2:

I have some health stuff going on with my parents, so I wasn't online last night. Looks like you guys did some damage.

Hi Everyone! :wave2:

Hope everything is ok Dodie.

I'm in the "who ever else" catagory? Geesh, I'm the 3rd highest overall poster and I get no respect.:sad2:

;) :p

Sorry Jen. Typically when I'm logging in at 7AM, it's Brandie, Paul and Todd who are posting. I, in no way, meant to dis you.:)

An inch of snow delays schools that much?

We lived in Arizona for my junior year of high school. We were in Sierra Vista, just north of the Mexico border. We had moved there from Iowa to be nearer to my mom's sister. I remember during the winter months that people would bundle way up because they were cold. It was like 50 degrees. I would laugh and say that this was a heat wave as compared to Iowa.

Then it snowed. One whole inch covered the ground.

I kid you not...the entire town shut down.

I woke up and got ready for school, quite shocked when I discovered the snow on the ground, but drove to school anyway. Got to school to see an empty parking lot and was dumbfounded. It was an inch of snow people!! Nothing compared to Midwest winters! :rotfl:

But I guess in an area where they don't usually deal with snow, I suppose it was to be expected. I got a day off of school for it, so I didn't complain much! :p

Hey ya windbags! How's a girl supposed to keep up?!?

:lmao:

So....what have we missed?!?
