Girls Only Disneyland Trip ~ Old thread, link to new one in first post

In about 14 hours I will be taking a much needed break to see Dis buddies Beth, Jane, and Stacie!! Can't wait. Although....to be honest....this will be my first visit to a strip club and I am not sure what to expect.

Well, don't worry. Chippendales is more of a stage show than a strip club. It's in a theater like setting, and it won't be too scary.

Now when we go to the OG in June, that is a bona fide strip club!

I am getting excited for Cheryl's slumber party - eight more days!

Whoo hoo! That is exciting.

For everyone in the Photopass, I got the CDs yesterday. I will work on making 20 of them this weekend and get them mailed out by Monday.

Morning ladies! It's almost afternoon, but not quite yet. I finally dragged myself from bed. I woke up to my stomach doing flip flops and feeling very funky.
Not sure why but it sucks. I've been laying in bed with a heating pad on just trying to feel better so I can still meet with the girls for some fun tonight. If not, I'll have Ruben go down and drop the tickets off, but I really wanna go so I'm going to try and take it easy today.

Hope you are all having a good day so far! Where is everyone by the way??? This thread is like a ghost town lately.

(The DIS seems to be running really slow for me this morning. Is it like that for anyone else?)

It has been a crazy morning at work, plus I am trying to do an explication essay, and I am not having any luck. Really why do I need Eng 102 for my AA ? Isn't 101 good enough??

Ugh, just got hit with a little work drama.
Mindy (the person in charge of scheduling for events) called and left me a voice mail saying that Pat (a Higher up, someone you want to impress!) said I didn't show up for work last Saturday (Eggstravaganza). She said she emailed me two times with my hours and wanted to know if I was going to be able to work the Earth day event this Saturday.


I called her back and said "Mindy, I've called you, left you voice messages & EMAILED you for my hours and received no response. Maybe you have the wrong email address"

Sure enough, she had an old one.

She's like *word filter* ! And I'm like YEAH!

So I'm working this Saturday 8am-1:30pm. At least now I know she wasn't avoiding me

I'm hoping my grandparents can come down and kidsit Anais for me but if not I'm going to have to ask my aunt if she can sleep over their house on Friday night.

I'm happy that I have hours, though.

I have had a bug here too. Big Yuck, is all I can say. Finally feeling better. Hope you get well quickly Beth so you don' t miss your LV Divas gathering. Sounds fun and wish I was there!

Hey, just booked a 3 night get away for me and hubby to Las Vegas in July. The airfare was so incredible and we got a free room at the Paris, so I am thrilled! Some of you Vegas gals will have to come meet up with me, maybe get some pool time!

Your hubby surely worships the ground you walk on Beth, and sometimes I just sigh in jeolousy, because my husband does not hardly have a romantic bone in his body. But I do have to remind myself of my my no good really rotten first husband who gave me tons of flowers and romantic moments and lovely words, even as he worked his slimey con. I would not trade the two for all the world, and as practical and serious as my husband is I know that he would lay down his life for me and my boys and I just let that wistful romantic side of me be satisfied vicariously by reading about experiences like yours. So thanks for sharing girlfriend, and you just enjoy those moments because they are truly special.

I am so glad that I am not in school any longer, although if I ever decide to reinvent myself as a teacher again, I will likely go back and get my master's degree. I tried to sign up for a couple of online courses that were just pass/fail, and I did complete them, but it was torture, and then the professor would come back with comments and try to get me to take another look and delve a little deeper. I was like, "are you serious? None of this matters in the real world. Get out of your academic cloud and just give me the pass or fail, would ya??" I was not in the student mode for sure!
