The 5 would be a straight shot to DL. Or you can go over the 210E to the 605 S and then catch the 91E and meet back up with the 5 S. But I don't know if that would really save you from that much traffic to be honest.

Thank you for quick reply! We are sticking to 5. 42 miles. We will see how long it takes!

Vicki, I got a flyer in the mail that we could buy tix with our Disney Visa before the public and that's what we did. I wish I could scan the flyer and post it, but I cannot. The website is www.centertheatregroup.org/poppins. The password is Disney. I believe tomorrow the tix go on sale for everyone. The shows start 11/13 and to thru 1/10. I know it is far away, but we LOVE Mary Poppins and have been waiting for it to come here. The Ahmanson is in downtown LA, so it is a good 2 hour drive for us, but we will make a day/evening of it. Check out the website, I hope you can go, I am sure it will be a fabulous event!:love:

PS We bought seats in the Front Mezzanine section. Row 2-just off the center to the right. :)

Hi Linda - Thanks for the information! I just saw this so I'll check into it after we get something for dinner. How exciting! - Sounds like you have great seats!
 
OH NO CHERYL OH NO!!!!! I did the same thing once only it was my eye socket that collided with a metal railing! I got a horrible self inflicted black eye instead of a mock-collagen injection gone wrong, but very similar situation. I'm glad you and Bella are both okay minus a few cosmetic and potential ego injuries.

Its actually quite hilarious. They need to find it on you tube to get the full effect.
 
So where have all the drive by newbies gone? Did you guys scare them all away? So many have stopped by to say hi and that they are interested in the trip, yet they never have come back. What gives?


I think we should all plan to do the train together once as well.
