I'm going to be on a 7-night this fall with friends and am looking for feedback regarding the Wine Packages.
Looking for folks who have done it, or found alternatives and the pros and cons of each.
Thanks!
Does anyone know what the current corkage fee is?
0 if you pour your glasses of wine in your room and then take them to dinner with you!!!!
karl
We just need to buy BIG glasses (I'm not walking back to the room for a refill )
IAN, IAN, IAN,
you should just have your personal Wine Sommelier, pick 7 or 8 bottles for you and have them at the hotel the night before your cruise in a soft sided ice chest!!
karl
cost plus has large acrylic wine goblets, for a couple bucks. dont you remember robin and i carrying ours to dinner on the WBPC?(2 of them held a full bottle)
karl
I believe I DO remember you guys carrying around the goblets. Where would one go about purchasing those said goblets??
Karl,
Are you offering to be my sommelier? I know you know about wines, I on the other hand am ashamed to say I know nothing. I wish I did. It's a glaring hole in my education. Even worse, I have on of the premier wine merchants in the city around the corner.
I wonder if for a dolt like me, the package is a good option. I'm determined to catch up on my wine drinking on the cruise. I've neglected it for too long!
There are both Cost Plus and World Market here in Chicago. We're very up-to-date.
