Hi All,

Planning a trip in October 2012 to WDW to celebrate my 50th birthday and I was wondering if anyone else has planned this far ahead previously, or am I just crazy/bored???

Pete

I don't think so. I was planning on going in 2010 and now it looks like I'll have to wait till 2011! It's never to early to plan!!!

In 2 years we will be celebrating our 20th Anniversary & I've been checking things out!! Although it really is tough to get prices as they change -but hey, it's never to early to start planning & saving!!!

Disney BF's 50th is Sept 2012. I have already started mapping out out 10 day birthday trip itineraries.:woohoo:

It's never too early to plan. I'm working on mine in Dec 2010

I agree with Cherinva..... it's NEVER to early to start Disney Planning! We booked at 499 days out and now it's only like 125 days away. HAPPY!! :cool1:

no, you are not crazy. I'm planning for feb 2011 and I think I'm only mildly obsessive. But I love planning my disney vacation. I carefully rethink where we should stay and I map out which parks to attend since we will only have time for two. I track airfare and hotel prices to see what the prices will be when I'm ready to book. I'll know just how much money to save and budget for. I dont' think this as obssesive at all. I think this is a well thought out and reasoned and rational approach to a disney vacation (this is what I tell myself as I read the unofficial guide for the umpteenth time...:rotfl:)

You are not crazy at all! Look at my countdown...we just decided to start to plan a trip and suprise our two youngest for Halloween of 2011.

Have fun planning!!!

Trish

Oh no it's never too early to plan a Disney trip. We have July 2011 and July 2012 planned so far. I feel lost if I am not planning a Disney trip.:scared1:

NOT crazy! Our last trip was Dec '08 :sad2: DH said our next Disney trip won't be for 2 to 3 years. . .so that makes it 2012!! I'll be here counting down/daydreaming with all you guys here!

You're not any crazier than I am!!! We are going in June 2012 for my youngest son's HS graduation -- and I'm planning now!!!!!!:cool1:

You are perfectly sane. I am planing my family's vacation for October 2012!! This thread will be packed full in no time at all!

Oh Cool, I was wanting to put a ticker up for June 2012 but thought it was waaaaayy too far off. We are wanting to go 2012, our daughter graduates college 2011 and our son graduates High School 2012 so we are hoping to go in June.

What to do? I just watched the D23 Expo video for the new fanastyland. I think I need to wait for at least part of it to be open. Late 2012?!?

It is 100% okay to plan for your next trip no matter how soon or far away it is. It's part of the excitement! Planning is dreaming and we all need dreams, hopes, wishes.

Happy planning!

Go for it. I have my 2010 trips planned so am thinking of ideas for for June 2011.

Besides the sooner you plan the sooner you can start putting money away.

It is nice to see there are other crazy peeps. We just got back about two weeks ago and I am planning an early Jan. 2012 trip back for 14 people.:thumbsup2

Think of it this way....plan ahead and you'll have less stress when the big moment comes. Wanted to go this year, but sadly....:sad2:

So I'm planning for 2011 and 2012.

It's so exciting to plan.

Yes, it IS exciting to plan! I have a new ticker made haha! I wonder how much of Fantasyland will be done when we finally arrive?
