I'm home, and I'm pooped! Our plane was about an hour late, so we spent a bit of time at John Wayne.
We had a blast this weekend, but I'll have to report about it tomorrow, after a good night's sleep.

Had such a nice time with everyone this weekend. Friday's birthday lunch for Miss Sally was super (kudos to Dawn for planning such a lovely lunch). We had a very special meeting with Wally Boag. (Thank you, Cheri, for making this possible for us - and for the tickets - that was really special)

Kelly/Daisuke, Marty (Tina/BillyFan's husband), Cheri/DizMe's daughter, Wally Boag, Tina/BillyFan, Cheri/DizMe, Missy/tothesea, me, and Leslie/lcasa.

Wally Boag starred at the original Golden Horseshoe Revue as Pecos Bill. A lot of us remember one of the skits where Slue Foot Sue would slap him, and he would spit out teeth

After this special visit, and several hours on the Los Angeles freeways, BillyFan, her husband, Marty, Kelly, & I made it back to the DL Resort. I so enjoyed our conversation on our way over to meet Wally & on our way back to the DL Resort. Then Kelly & I watched the fireworks, and Fantasmic (thank you, again, Cheri!).

Saturday, I made it in time to watch Billy Hill & the Hillbilly's with the Divas, then dinner at the Plaza Inn & fireworks. I really had a good time. Donna wrote a great report, so I'll just say "what she said." ha ha.

It was nice meeting some of the husbands on this trip and getting to know them, and meeting "new" Divas, like Cheri, Missy, and Judy. These trips are always great, and although I never get to spend more time with people, like I want, I enjoy that I do spend time with the ones I do. This time I got to spend some really quality time with Cristabel, BillyFan & Marty, Kelly & Shane, and some time with Donna & Vicki - hoping to spend more with them. I got to spend some time with Dawn & Miss Sally, Linda, & Theresa, and hope to spend more time with them next time.

Okay, I started to name everyone, but there is no way I'm going to get everyone. Just know that I wish I could have spent more time with you, and look forward to seeing you guys again in February.

Let's just say--I was not scared at all of the overlay and monsters, etc.

However, about 1/3 of the way through the ride, when you take that first big curve--I suddenly remembered why I hadn't been on this ride in 25 years and the last 2/3 of the ride was me holding on for dear life and praying that the rocket didn't go off the track and/or I didn't go flying out.

In other words--don't expect a repeat performance anytime soon--at least another 25 years!

I sat right next to her in the front row, and she really did not enjoy the ride. But I give her a big thumbs up for being a trooper and going on with us. I thought the ride was really well done and pretty scary.

And the whole weekend was SUPER FUN!

I second that! A big thumbs up to Cheryl for going on it with us even though it wasn't fun for her, I had fun going on it with her and since it'll be another 25 years until she goes on it again, we'll have the picture for the memories!

And Linda it was a Super Fun weekend and I'm glad I had the opportunity to spend more time with you and even help you pick out the Monkey Bride!!

Oh one more highlight was going on HM with Donna! It was her first time seeing the Nightmare Before Christmas overlay and it was so much fun seeing it all through excited new eyes! Thanks Donna!

I had such a great time this weekend. I'm disappointed that I didn't get to meet some of the new divas and then the ones I did meet, I didn't get a chance to talk to them. I hope I didn't come of as rude, I just wasn't feeling very well. I did enjoy catching up with everyone though and I can't wait to see everyone again!

Cheryl - I forgot to tell you - kudos for you for going on Space Mountain - I loved the pic.

Yep there is a picture!

That's funny, 'seeing/not seeing' Donna! She was very mysterious in her zombie/Haunted Mansion Ghost costume! You should have seen the looks and a few fun comments we received walking down Harbor from HoJo's at 5:00 in the afternoon in our costumes. Me the skippy/dippy Candy Corn Witch 'Barmaid' and Donna with her face/head covered in her black veil and tattered dress. It was fun!
