I'm not having a stupid day! At least not yet. :rolleyes1 I'm glad to know I'm in good company with my "off" days. :grouphug:

So much going on in the thread today! I'm sad Amy isn't going, but I am super happy that Beth is going to make it! Now if I don't make it, you all can put a brunette wig on Beth and it'll be like I'm there...'cause I still swear we're basically the same person.

Mel, Linda and Cheryl - Have a super awesome time! I wish I could be there to help you all.

Jane, sounds like you had a great night, how fun!

I hope everyone that is sick or that has ill family members get well super soon.

Big hugs to everyone!

I'm so happy to hear Bethie is going on the trip!

Beth, that is such perfect news to hear on a Friday morning.

I hope everyone has a great weekend. My stint as a nanny, housekeeper & cook will be done tomorrow :woohoo:

You've done a great job!

And heck yes the Wanton Wenches are back in action!!!! :thumbsup2 Benches all over the park are quivering in fear......

That's funny!!!

BETH!!!! YOU STINKER!!! Today I dub thee Malificient for scaring the bejeebers out of all of us and then saying "Psyche!!" :maleficen

I'm SOOOO glad you're coming. I was really going to miss you if you couldn't make it.

I say if Beth ends up on the bus, then the party shouldn't start until 8! It IS a pajama party after all and we can all snack and socialize for an hour or so until our queen bee arrives. Right??
I agree!

34 days to go!

Woo-hoo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Heather--Good luck today! I hope you have time to check in with us before you go to the Disney show.

I love how it is alphabetical order!

:lmao: Hmm, I wonder how I'd look as a brunette. But you know, it won't be the same without your signature red dress Wendall, and only you can pull that off. ;)

I'm so happy to hear Bethie is going on the trip!
Thanks Tina. I'm excited to see you and your mom again, and to watch your boyfriend with you all. :charac2:

Riverbelle Terrace is counter service. There might be a line so it could take a few minutes to get through but I would think right at opening it shouldn't be too bad. I ate there twice on my last trip; I am already craving those pancakes!

I'm not having a stupid day!
My turn. I was supposed to take DH's car in for an oil change this morning before work so he took my car. Then I remembered that I don't have a key to his car and forgot to trade keys before he left. So now I am home waiting until Bryan goes to work so he can drop me off. He just started a new job this week at Olive Garden and loves it.

Good morning ladies!!! I hope the weather is improving for you all who've been poured on lately. There is snow covering the mountains out my window today and it's gorgeous.

I have something to say, and for those of you who don't have the time and/or the desire to read it all, feel free to skip my ramblings and head below to the cliff notes version. ;)

Okay.........so...........uhhhhhhh. (ahem) Well, remember my big speech about doing the right thing, and being responsible, and all that nonsense? :snooty:

Yes, well, I've been thinking and I've pretty much decided to say............ screw that. :rolleyes1
So much for being the mature, responsible adult making wise, commendable decisions huh?

Well, I made the right decision when I canceled my October birthday trip, and dangit I just don't want to do that again. What kept my spirits up after canceling that trip was knowing I'd see you all in February and ever since I made the post about not going, it's been rough for me. I kept telling myself it was silly to get upset over missing a Disney trip, but then I realized it's more than that. I would miss YOU! ALL of you. That's the part that sucked.

Ruben's been telling me all along to just go and not worry about it, that we'll figure things out for June and everything else. (I adore him  ) And a few of the ladies have been reminding me to live life, and be grateful for good friends and good times. And I had such a great time last time, I just know it would really make me sad to miss this trip. Sooooooooo in the grand tradition of blowing off responsibility in favor of Disney............ I'm going. :yay:

I have to say that I also had a wonderful "fairy godmother" who really is the one who made it possible for me to go by offering to pay for the room. I won't embarrass her by saying who, (cough*Shirley*cough) , but I owe her a lot and I just had to publicly say thank you. Can't wait to see you again my friend. It's been far too long.

So anyway, you are stuck with me now. Sorry for the back and forth drama. It's a bit embarrassing really. But I thank you all for your friendship and look forward to seeing good friends, and meeting new ones. :)

***CLIFF NOTES VERSION: I'm going on the trip after all!!!!! :yay: :woohoo: :cool1: :cheer2: :dance3: :teeth:

Girl you sure do know how to make an announcement. I thought I was going to lose what mind I had waiting for you to tell the ladies. Oh for the record, no take backs, so you can't change your mind again.

Oh no, well, it's nice to know we can take turns having a "stupid day" so Wendy doesn't have to. LOL

I love Olive Garden!! Glad to hear he likes it so far.

:rotfl: Sorry about that. I wasn't sure how to say it without looking like a total dork. Then I remembered it's already common knowledge that I'm a total dork and just went for it. :thumbsup2

I think I will try the steamboat.... Steamboat - Three Fluffy Pancakes, Scrambled Eggs, Choice of Bacon or Sausage. $7.99

Yum! Wish it came with a biscuit though!

Yay for Beth coming to her senses!!!:lovestruc

Thanks to all who sent good thoughts and hugs my way. Last night I was just doing too much thinking for my own good and was feeling a little down, but today looks brighter both literally and figuratively. But, I am calling Hojo in a few minutes to cancel my room since I lost my roomie. Hopefully either Beth and Shirley or another roomie group will take pity on me if I can swing the trip. I only snore a little bit :rotfl2:

I am getting so excited about this trip! I am just going with the flow for the most part. I guess that I need to start looking at maps and schedules and making some notes. This is my first trip to Disney Land so it will be a learning curve for me.

Daisy

I am going with the flow too. My first trip to Disneyland also, can't wait. :woohoo:

I think that I may have a bite out of Mark Twain....breakfast potatoes and biscuit!!
