Hello,

I was wondering if the main pool has life jackets for little ones? We are going to book our trip this week, but I was concerned if our little ones will have a good time in the pool like they did at CBR which had lifejackets.
Thank-you! :)

Yes, they do.

We booked a waterview room. Would you recommend to remove that option and have the extra spending. I know I've read that the water view could be of a pool. I'm almost thinking of changing this option. Also is there a good place to request that is close to the Dig site pool yet not too far from the parking lot?

Personally, I don't understand paying for a water view room at a resort where you don't have a personal balcony on which to sit and enjoy the view. Don't get me wrong, it's GREAT to open your window or walk out your door to a nicer view than a parking lot, but IMO, it's not worth paying extra for! Just MHO, though!!

BOOKED!!!!:goodvibes:lmao::cool1::thumbsup2

August 13-27 with free QSDP PIN!! Can you say "We'll be eating lots of meals at the Pepper Market????!!!"

Still hoping for full free dining to be announced sometime soon so we can change our dates to take advantage, but we're going either way!!!:rotfl::rotfl:

9 days until we arrive at CSR!! Thanks to everyone on this board, especially KatMark, we are more excited to stay here than any other Disney resort we've stayed at. Did online check in last night, so we're ready to go!! Now just hoping that we get in the Cabanas section - the kids - DS - 8 and DD -4 really want to be as close to the pool as possible. I think all the sections look beautiful, and have their own charm, so I'll be happy at any of them!! I'll just be happy to be in Disney!!:goodvibes

You guys have fun, you are going to the CSR, I know I do;)

10 days for us!!

Thanks, Katmark, for your continued updates and responses to everyone's questions. It's the folks on this board that have us assured that we are going to thoroughly enjoy CSR.

As a former travel agent I know a lot of waterview rooms can be "Look to the left, more left, more left, around that corner, can you see the edge of the lake?" kind of waterviews, so I never spend the money on them as you have no guarantee if you'll be full frontal waterview, or just a tiny corner if you nearly break your neck trying to see it!

Personally, I would call and see if a standard is available. Without a patio, I can't see paying the extra money. We did it once, and most of our other visits we were upgraded with a slight or full water view.

I will be checking in at Coronado in 2 days!!! :cool1::cool1::cool1::cool1:

:dance3::woohoo::dance3: DH and I are hoping to stay for two or three nights in September before Marco Island...depends on if the rest of our cars stay "healthy". :)

If you don't get the Cabanas, the Ranchos are also close to the pool (but a little further from the main building. And thank you for the kind words. :)

I have to commend katmark for all the wonderful info on csr. It's all so accurate and helpful!!!

I have a question for you all. Do you all get in a funk after your Disney vacation is over? I am so bumming that it's over. Even though we have reservations for a summer vacation at the Maryland beaches in just 3 months, I want to be in Disney. I have even had dreams that we've hit the lottery and choose to live in Disney. Is that totally abnormal? Do I need some help LOL? How do you get over it? Any help would be great!!!

After? Heck my DD (12) and I can get in a funk by just thinking about our last day at Disney, four months before we even get there!:scared1::laughing:

There only way to get over "it" is to book another visit.

just finished online check in. we will be arriving at CSR in one week!! we are very excited for this trip!!! :dance3:

on our last trip to disney was cut incredibly short. i got bronchitis on the second day and we flew home the third. :( so this has been called the make-up since the last one was so awful.

so a few firsts for us on this trip:
-1st stay at CSR
-1st time entering a park early for breakfast, 8:05 CP @ MK
-1st time to see La Nouba

We can't wait. And I have been drinking water, taking my vitamins and allergy meds to stay healthy! :woohoo:

Again, thank you everyone on the boards with planning and information, especialy KatMark, you are a wealth of knowledge. :cheer2:

Thanks again and have a good week everyone! :goodvibes

We had a waterview room on our trip in February, that we did pay extra for and I'm so glad that we did it. I never looked out our window or anything, but the view we had of the lake, clear across the Dig Site, everytime I opened our door was fantastic. When you are on the "inside" of the resort (the arear surrounding the lake), it feels a lot different than when you're on the parking lot side.

Have a great time - you will love CSR, CP has best brft and my fave Tigger!(if you haven't been, make sure to take advantage of made-to-order omlettes & Mickey shaped C.C. pancakes!) and beautiful, sunny view of the castle in the a.m. - be sure to get there early, and take pics on empty Main St. - get photopass magic shot w/Tink in hands if you haven't before:goodvibes
