Baez is just stalling. It's interesting to watch the contrast in style between Baez and Ashton. Even though Ashton can be a pitbull when cross examining, he obviously keeps things professional and knows what he is doing. Baez is way over his head in this case. It's like watching a lightweight vs heavy weight fight.

When does that start and will it be televised?? That'll be a crazy trial with all the MJ fanatics outside the courthouse day and night. Please tell me it'll be televised. I know I'm turning into a court tv freak, but I've discovered a new form of recreation!

It's supposed to start Sept.. They've been advertising it on HLN or TRU, so I am sure it'll be televised. Maybe just on TRU? Not sure. However, it might get bumped if this whole Casey Anthony trial isn't over! I think it has potential to get very good with loads of interesting info. on MJ!

That why Mason should be doing this case,

Judge is definitely thinking about the jurors and wanting them to get home ASAP. Good for you Judge!!!

I want to slap that smirk off Baez's face!

A few posts up, someone said they think Cindy may be trying to protect Casey now, because she may be pregnant!:scared1: Why would Cindy want her out of prison for that? If she did end up pregnant, and don't rule out that she may someday become pregnant with a guard's kid....she can't raise the baby in prison, and they won't let her out to raise the baby. Cindy would get custody of the baby, and isn't that what she wanted all along with Caylee? Isn't that one of the reason's we are all here? Is Cindy wanted that baby, because she knew what a piece of dirt her daughter was, Casey wasn't going to give her mother that satisfaction.

So go ahead Casey, get pregnant in prison, you'll just be giving your mother all that she ever wanted.

That was me!

No, I don't think she wants her out of prison. But I could see Casey/Baez threatening or telling her that she had to do it for that reason. If she was pregnant, Casey could hold it over her head because Cindy & George would get custody.. but Casey could threaten to do things to her own pregnancy (which would put George and cindy into a tail spin). Or she could always call on what she believes to be the fathers parents, so it wouldn't seem guarenteed. She could also lie about being pregnant to start with. This would give Casey some kind of power over her parents again, even though shes in jail.

I am not saying this DID happen, but just that it is one possible sceniro?

They will be back today. Deposition should not take long. Thy will be called back when they are done. I guess the subject to call means that folks shouldn't run off or anything.

Thank you. I am assuming subject to call means it could be 15 minutes or 15 hours, to be ready.

I just want to know if the Judge canceled the day off tomorrow because of Baez's antics.

Casey would be spiteful enough to demand her baby be put up for adoption to strangers rather than let her parents have the kid. It's who she is. She hates her mother and father more than she loved her child, i.e. Caylee, and probably any future child she may have. Additionally, how would it look for her to hand over a future prison conceived child to her mom, who is married to her molesting, deceased granddaughter body hiding father George.

I love Ashton but he has to be careful too. He can be very argumentative as well and has been cited as such before. He can take things very personally and sometimes needs to bring it down a notch so that the jury doesn't see him as overbearing. I enjoy watching him but sometimes LDB shows us more restraint, calmness and professionalism.

Yeah, who cares the jury has been sequestered for 33 days. Who cares that they may not be able to spend time with their family and friends on the 4th of July. Who cares? His client is in jail no matter what, so he can drag this out until Christmas, or he can try.

I really hope the judge looks into whether or not this is really a problem for the defense. He said "If I find out this is an imaginary problem...." I take that to mean is is going to be checking into it somehow.

I agree with you. I was only being funny as to meaning I did not hear the rest of the team saying they wanted to drag this out. Sorry if that offended you.

NGrace is playing Casey's lips allegedly calling GA a "son of a b". However, as I watch them, that's more like a w sound she's making. Her lips come a little forward to form a W and not a B. And it didn't look like she was mouthing the "son of" part either.

If you saw it, what are your thoughts on that? (I wish I had a link to the video of that)

Morning all! I agree with you. I'm pretty good with lip reading coz I do have a slight hearing loss. There's no way she said son of a b----. Definately a "w", not a "b". I can't however think of anything except "*****". Was George questioned about the affair before he left the stand? Could it be related to that?

TE=CurlyGirl;41679710]Aren't we going through the next case together? After all, it's CA vs. Dr. Conrad Murray -- Michael Jackson's cardiologist![/QUOTE]

Uugghh! Not quite the same. I know everyone was supposed to love & revere MJ, but I have little sympathy there. A 50 year old man who abused his body, questionable child abuser (I know, never proven), who died because of drugs he demanded & abused for years is just not the same as a 2 year old innocent who probably died by her own mother's hand. I don't think that doctor is as evil as KC. JMHO, of course.

Why is it that when Baez argues he just sounds like a whining kid.. Its not fair, we couldn't do it.. waaah waah waah. Even when having good arguments, he just sounds like a spoiled child.

Maybe he should have said "waah, waah, waah" yesterday instead of "blah, blah, blah". :rotfl:

And now we're in recess again. Glad JGP is giving JB all the time he needs. Less reason for appeal. But sounds like we might not be going to verdict watch til Mon or Tues. Good for me coz I'm working Sat & Sun. Not so good for the poor jurors. Wondre what they must be thinking. Came to courthouse today expecting more trial, & now they're told "indefinate recess". :sad2:

I have heard the pregnancy rumors, I'm afraid she might keep getting pregnant in order not to have to face much jail time. Yes I know she will be in jail, but she will be given an easier time,

If she gets the death penalty I'm afraid she might stay pregnant the whole time in order to avoid the death penalty

Doesn't she get unlimited private visit her her attorneys

Well in order for Casey to get pregnant, rules would have to be broken. If it wasn't a guard, then a guard let someone in. If it was Baez :scared1: .......LOL. I can't see Casey threatening to go the other family and not be laughed at. Other than Casey terminating the pregnancy, I can't see how any baby she has would not go to George and Cindy.

That why Mason should be doing this case,

I agree. Baez could have assisted and gained valuable experience. I tried to give him the benefit of a doubt in the beginning, but it just became so obvious that he wasn't experienced enough for this case.

Listening to HLN on Sirius so I can't see anything but that guy that was just on sounded just like Gilbert Gottfried.

Baez says we will do what we have to no matter how long it takes. I object I did not hear from the rest of the team they wanted to do that, It's hearsay!!!!!:lmao:

I think that Baez is getting paid by the hour or out of a chunk of something? Which is why he doesn't care how long it goes?

Casey would be spiteful enough to demand her baby be put up for adoption to strangers rather than let her parents have the kid. It's who she is. She hates her mother and father more than she loved her child, i.e. Caylee, and probably any future child she may have. Additionally, how would it look for her to hand over a future prison conceived child to her mom, who is married to her molesting, deceased granddaughter body hiding father George.

Maybe in the end she would, but until she did, she could have them going for a bit to do whatever she wanted. If there was a possibility however slim that they could raise Caylee's brother or sister, I think they would try to do anything they could for that. Just like when she was in their house for 9 days. They knew she wasn't going to tell them anything, but there was a slim possibility that she might.

I don't think she cares about how she looks to other people. Otherwise I think she would have taken the stand in her own defense. She cares about herself first and foremost, and trying to get the most out of people.

who knew richard was a Disney fan LOL:lmao::lmao::lmao:

I am unable to follow the trial very often because I have to be at work when the trial is on.
So I come here to catch up
As far as River Cruz is concerned did anyone mention how unattracive she is? GA is a handome man. I think she cared far more about him then he did for her. She fell in love and felt rejected by him. If anythig physical happened I think it started with her.
I dont think that CA will get the DP, but I am hoping she will be locked up for life

I thought be restrained His demeanor very well this morning with the jury out.

I am convinced Baez is pulling shenanigans. I would be hot tempered if a colleague was so blatantly behaving in that manner. I thought Ashton held himself together despite the antics.

No! NO NO! LOL. I wasn't offended. I quoted you because I thought what you said was funny and I was agreeing.

I hate message boards.
