Wow, where have I been, I don't even remember discussing teal tees this year. I guess I better start hunting now. I still have my neon lime green shirt I wore a couple years ago, horrible color on me, but it works for a day. :thumbsup2
Go get your hunt on, missy. I'm still hunting for lime green. I did find a long sleeve one, but it won't work if it's hot.
Can I put in a request for cool weather? Pretty please.

Went iceskating with my car this morning on a steep hill on my way to the hospital. My foot was on the break, but apparently slope + ice + gravity = sliding, breaks or no breaks. Finally got the car to stop sliding by miraculously getting the car to turn and slide into someone's driveway, but as soon as I would try to move the car, it would start sliding again. Lots of fun!
:scared1: I hate that out of control feeling when you are sliding around on the road. One of the reasons I rarely drove in MI during the winter. Stay safe!!

To all the lovely DisDiva's running the 5K and/or Tinkerbell 1/2 this weekend - Good Luck!!
I second that!! :cheer2: :cheer2:

Maybe I am walking around sporting my favorite shade on a regular basis looking like death warmed over.
Doubtful. Some people can really rock that color. Let's be real, with this large of a group, we'd never find one color that everyone likes. Except pink.....everyone should like pink. :rolleyes1

I keep getting a pop-up telling me my message is too short so I added this and that did the trick.

OMG - when I first saw this I thought you said you soaked YOUR head in Listerine :scared1: I thought wow, she is committed to killing those pesky germs!

Hope all is well with everyone.
Hi, Steph! Hope all is well with you, too.

Hope everyone has a good day!
You, too, Kelly! :)

I realize it's too early to pack. (Right? It's too soon, right? Okay, just wanted to make sure. lol) But I kept going over in my head what items I'd need for this trip, which ones I already had, which ones I needed to dig up, which ones I needed to go buy, etc. and it was making me nuts. So, I thought I'd post my super-dee duper packing list. :cool1:

Yes, it's a bit insane, and won't apply to everyone. Heck, I don't even pack everything that's on here, but it does come in handy! ::yes:: If anyone can think of anything I left off, let me know! Thanks.

Um, tie dye....... Hellooooooooooo :upsidedow

And that packing list is a smidge obsessive, just sayin :rolleyes1

Good morning, ladies!! Happy Thursday!

Okay, I am going to play momma bear for a minute here. Please be careful with those tanning beds. I was addicted to tanning in high school. I went almost daily for over a year, and was so dark! This of course was back when I had the bod to wear a bikini, so I loved it.
Now, I wish someone had stopped me. I did so much damage to my skin. And I worry constantly about skin cancer. I just know it's going to come back to haunt me. In fact, I have a new spot on my face that is suspicious and needs checking. :sad2:

Anyway, trying to look out for you. Maybe try a spray tan or something. Okay, I'll hush up now.

!
I was a tan adict too since age 9 when we got a pool. Us kids spent all day outside laying out working on our tans, no sunscreen back then. A friend of mine used Wesson oil to tan and man did she have the best tan in high school. I still love being in the sun but didn't start using sunscreen until about 10 years ago.

Thanks. Love your packing list, mine is not quite that long but that's only because I combine things like Bathroom Stuff.:)

Great list Beth!

I just need to add motion sickness pills to that list. I already had on my grocery shopping list besides water and soda, bathroom spray, it's a must. :thumbsup2

I had a horrible dream last night that I forgot my new Dooney cross body bag and my gift for the M & G...oh the horror. I got up this morning I started a Disney pile in one place so that won't happen.

Of all you runners in September is anyone doing the 5k? I would love to do a Disney run and get one of those beautiful medals but the word marathon scares me. I did a couple of 5k's in 2010 but that was about 20lbs ago. I'd love to do one again though. Also good luck to all the runners this weekend! :cheer2:

I am also lacking in teal and surprisingly a solid blue shirt. So next weekend Jamay and I are going shopping, hopefully we can find some teal and blue shirts and Jamay needs a lime green one too. We also must find some tiaras.

Congratulations Mel on the new grand baby!!!

I hope everyone is having a great day!

I found a teal (more blue than green) shirt at Target last night, but it only went up to size L. Not enough room in that tee for my fluff, so I might try the Target close to my house and see if they have a bigger size.

I'm tempted to sign up for the 5k in September, but I'm a firm believer in resting the day before a half, so I might pass on it, especially since I don't want to pay for both the half and 5k. :scared1:

I have a tote in my closet with all my stuff to bring next month so I don't forget anything. So far it has my purple tee, park ticket, hotel reservation confirmation, a schedule of my dining reservations, and meet & greet exchange stuff. I'm getting super excited for the trip! :cheer:

We have a team name!! :cool1: The team with myself, Cynthia, Brandi and Nicole will be called the Lightning Diva Super Sleuths!

:thumbsup2 We can't wait!!

Um, tie dye....... Hellooooooooooo :upsidedow

You are such a trouble maker. :hippie:

And remember, I've seen what you pack and you have no room to talk. :rolleyes1 :rotfl2:
You don't have to pack everything on there. Pick and choose, baby, pick and choose. :thumbsup2

I'd use baby oil when I'd lay out at the beach. I am still not very good about using sunscreen. Especially here, I need to be better at it.

I used to combine items into groups like that but I'd still end up forgetting stuff. If I don't have something written down, I'll forget it. Happens every time I go grocery shopping! :rotfl2:

Have fun shopping! I can't wait to see your pretty new tiaras. princess:

You left off tape to hang your door sign.:)
Thank-you! As long as that list is, there's still always something! :lmao:

Theresa!!!! You are a flipping genius. For. Reals. :worship::worship:

Tie dye. I bet somewhere in my multicolor swirls of color mickey head tie dye there has to be a snippet of teal. Problem solved.

Conversely, wearing a white shirt which is, in fact, all colors...right? Black is the absence of color, white is all colors..the whole prism thing and rainbow and ROY G. BIV. Gotta have teal in it.

I fear I am over thinking things here, but not nearly as much as that list. Holy cow.

Maybe because I tend to crowd all of Calcutta into one room so have to mind my space restrictions....like to travel a bit lighter than that.

Just spoke with my MIL and we would like to be added to the Company D side trip!! Is there still room or is everything already set?

Daisy

The nice thing about having all of Calcutta crowd into one room is if you do forget something, chances are, someone else has it! :thumbsup2

Hi Daisy! There's room. Melissa and Monica both still had open cars, so I'll just stick you and Jill in one, and Jen and Holly in the other, if that's okay with everyone involved.

There is still room in some of the cars for one or two here and there, so if you haven't signed up yet, go for it! :cool1:

Um....NO!! :laughing::laughing::laughing:

Come on Stacie. Get those problem solving brain cells moving! Remember the name has to have something to do with "race" :cool1: and something to do with "spies." :cool2:

Nice try though.......popcorn::

Oh.
:lmao: Mel, is tough today. :rotfl2:

I thought it was cute since y'all are mouse adventure fans. But, I guess it's lacking the theme rules....

I'm glad I don't have to think of a team name! It's hard!

We're already spies, but we're undercover so we can't tell people that we're spies in our team name! And I think Adventurer means spy! :cool1: And you don't think we race?? You've done MA before, you know it's a race!!

If we have to change it, which we really don't want to, we may just end up being Team #6. And it's already been posted on the 1st page, so we really can't change it now :p
