Ok ladies, in all my years of scrapbooking I have never participated in a swap BUT find myself so excited about Proj Mouse that I got to thinking how cool it would be to do a swap. Not a digital file (not that digitals can't be printed and a hybrid...but the swap that you can touch and feel...lol) Is there one currently underway? If not is anyone interested in participating in one and if so can someone tell me what I need to do to host it and I will be glad to host.
Looking so forward to it!!!!
Wendy

We have several swaps running at a time. The biggest thing would be figuring out where it would fit in the calendar.

I think the first thing we need to do is to find out how many people would be interested.

To be honest I just figured out what Project mouse was today, but all I've seen was the "hybrid" versions.

I think we need to get a game plan. Like how many elements would each person make and what size. What is the most standard size? Would they pick a theme, like photo ops and make a set for an entire page? Or would we have a theme of photo ops as a group and everyone made a different size element.

Sorry, I don't know much about the Project life albums. I use the Creative Memories picfolio albums for my own version of PL and it's all 4x6 and 5x7 slots, nothing smaller.

It could be broken down by park or by characters or by or by....

I'm not joining any other swaps, I'm not joining any other swaps...:rotfl2:

Jen I was just thinking the same thing ;) I've got too much on my plate between the page swaps and the fact that Rachel is graduating in 2 months :scared1: Never mind that I wouldn't know where to start on making my own project mouse cards.

As cool as it would be.. I'm swamped right now and have myself limited to the page swaps only this year...

I would join a swap like this it just depends when. I saw the thread of the cards and love them. Probably gonna use them in my fe gifts.

I am open to doing the swap if we have enough interest but it seems like most everyone is already committed to other swaps. If enough people show an interest I don't mind heading it up. I am thinking we could sort the swap by parks or since most of these cards are general (especially if you look at the digital project mouse cards)...it could be a free for all and you could just make general journal cards or filler cards. Guess the real question is do we have anyone that wants to participate?

Since it's early in the year and we have a lot of bigger swaps going, we could look at something later in the year.

That would give us time to make test samples and see how they would go together.

Jen, I picture them like ATC's too.

Be strong, my not joining any other swaps buddy! Resist the urge.

This is my problem exactly. As much fun as this sounds, I'm limiting myself to Jennifer's page swaps only this year. Swaps, graduation, prom, college, too much on my plate.

I'm starting a full-time job on Monday. My free time will be very very limited. I wouldn't want to overextend myself or do bad work because I felt rushed. I won't do that to the rest of you ;)

I just posted on the other thread in the scrapbooking forum:

I purchased the Project Mouse bundles from week 1 and week 3. I don't know if this is what you had in mind to swap, or to do ATC cards that are 4 x 6 or 2 x 3.

I printed week 1 and all the freebies out at Staples on the best copy paper, which has a really good weight and finish, and it cost 99 cents per page for 24 or 25 pages.

I will try to watch to see if there is a swap for this, but I probably won't be able to sign up for anything until August.
