***Official November 2013***

Hi! Just found this thread! We will be in WDW Nov 6-12...can't wait to go to MVMCP! Traveling with 16 other people, so this trip will be interesting! We are staying at POR. May switch over to the Boardwalk or Beach Club after we buy our annual passes in August!

I haven't read through the whole thread so I am sorry if this is a repeat question, but does anyone know if the resorts will be decorated for Christmas this early? Excited for DHS Osborne lights but would love to see the decorations at the resorts!

The resorts are the last places to be decorated after the Parks and with Thanksgiving being late this year not sure how that effects it as I know most recently you could count on them being finished by the Mon-Tue of Thanksgiving Week.

We will officially be at POR November 11-17 with FD! :)

I hope I can talk my sis to go up on the 9th, and stay at AoA LM.

we were arriving on nov 10 but changed it to nov 11
got a pin from disney but i think i read the are offering fd to gen public

Anyone know what is the latest you can add the dining plan? Am I able to add it after I have paid everything else at the 45 day mark or must it also be paid before 45 days? I cant catch a break everything is breaking on me or needing replaced  :badpc:I'm afraid if there is no discount I wont have everything paid by the 45 day mark. But there has to be some discount RIGHT!?!? Thanks

I believe you can add the DP up to 72 hours (3 days) before your arrival date.

I know exactly what you mean! I keep having one big unplanned expense after another popping up! I am usually sooo excited watching my trip countdown get lower and lower but lately I am like.......:scared:

Anyone have any info on the Osborne lights? What nights and days they show them?

According to easy wdw they start on the 8th (the weekend before the run) but I have heard its not completed in its entirety.

I'm having a bummer summer day. After news of possible FD extension and crunching numbers it really makes NO sense for my family to move back onsite

yes a sit down meal every night/day would be nice it's not worth it for us to pay 2k more for a room with 1 less night than we are paying for a 2br villa at WBC. (helllllo kitchen) Even if we paid OOP for meals every night it would still come out less than onsite right? Especially since we don't eat like we would on the DDP on a regular basis (desserts, etc)

I haven't stayed offsite in years and years. Makes me a little sad and i don't want to regret it but I know my family and know our tempers and space needs. I love them but too much of them for a week will get on my nerves lol

ugh I hate being a grownup sometimes

anyways--164 days to go :)

I am trying to plan some of our days now that I have the ADRs booked and I really want to do the Pirates and Pals Fireworks Cruise again on this trip. My DH, DS and I did it in Nov. 2011 and my DS really loved it. On this trip is will be me, DH, DS(9), DD(1), my sister, her two daughters (13 and 11) and my mom.

On Tuesday, Nov. 26 we are doing a NON-PARK DAY so we can enjoy Fort Wilderness where we are camping. We have breakfast booked at 1900 Park Fare at 9:35. Then we may go to DTD or head back to the Fort to swim or just relax. Then I have dinner booked at Hoop Dee Doo at 6:15.

Since dinner is so close to the boats at the Fort which go straight to the Contemporary Resort I think we could make it by 8:45. It says on the website to arrive 1 hour and 15 min prior to the Fireworks at MK. Wishes is at 10:00 so I would think we would be back at the Fort sometime around 11:30 or maybe a little after.

On Wednesday, Nov. 27 we have a 8:05 ADR at Crystal Palace followed by my DS Pirate Make Over and my nieces BBB appointment. Even if we skip breakfast to let the kids sleep in a little longer we would still have to be at MK by 9:00 for the make over. Unless I try to move the make overs later in the day.

What would you do? I don't want everyone to be tired which just leads to melt downs and unhappy people. I just really would like to do this with the whole family.

Thanks!!

Hi, I just wanted to introduce myself. We are planning our very first Disney family vacation(actually, our very first vacation ever!)11/16-11/23. Our family includes myself, dh and dd(12) and ds(7). Our kiddos are so excited! My hubby hasn't been to DW in 40+ years and it's been 30+ years for me. Looking forward to learning some tips and tricks here to make this trip magical and memorable for our family :tinker:
