Can you cancel Cinderella's Royal Table w/out penalty?

I'm about to make my ADRs for December and just saw that you have to fully prepay for Cinderella's Royal Table...for our party that's over $300. In case for some reasons our plans change, I don't want to be out of the money...don't see anything about a cancellation policy on the Disney site.

If you cancel 48 hours before, you will get a full refund. If you cancel under 48 hours, you will lose your entire prepaid amount.

Holy cow, that's stressful. What if someone gets sick? We had someone get sick on our last trip and I had to really scale back the adrs on the fly and we were ok. Of course I didn't have CRT reservations. Are all princess meals 48 hours in advance?
 


Ok so they must have changed it, I just went through the whole process of putting my card in etc to fully book the res and in the fine print it says there's a 1 day cancellation policy. Full price will be charged if canceling within 1 day or no show.

That was my concern, what if someone gets sick (we have a 1 yr old)...but I really want to eat there so I guess we'll risk it.

No, just CRT :)

As long as one person turns up to the reservation, you won't be changed a one show fee. You will get a refund for the people who were unable to make it. I know it's not ideal but at least you wouldn't lose the money.
 
Our Party got the stomach bug while on our trip. I called the morning of to cacel our CRT reservation with no problem. Full refund.

Unless there has been a recent change, this is different for CRT than for the "credit card guarantee" locations. In the past, a refund at CRT for anyone required cancelling the non-attending members of the party in advance.

I'm also aware that it was common for "unofficial" exceptions to be made in exceptional circumstances. (No doubt, this resulted in a number of "dog ate my homework" stories.)
