I actually have 2 ressiees for the dessert party , the 13th and 15th. Basically i am waiting , like a bad boy, to cancel on based on the weather. (Unless it rains all week GASP!)

The plan is to goto the 15th, 13th only if ifs bad weather 15th.

So if a anyone needs a party reservation for the 13th PM me and Ill let you know if I cancel!

Yes, same policy as other pre-pays. 24 hours. If memory serves...

Booking our package with QS if they offer free dining how would our credit be given if package is paid in full? If given credit on account and at end of our stay we still have credit left how would the credit be given?

Likely to the method of payment. You have to re book if you want FD.

We always attend the festival of the season. On sat the 16th and sun 17th Santa will be there. I'm not sure about the 15 th the web site has went back and fortth from 15 th to the 16 th. twice . But in any case the entire DD aka Disney Springs will be all decked out in the Christmas spirit. Ghiradellis starts giving out free peppermint bark candy s and there is festive activities ,shows, shopping ,all geared for the holidays. We have went for the past 3 years and all of our older trips as well. It's a fun time. We are so happy we thought it was going to start later this year since turkey days late in the month. We're going home the 18 th and going to the festival sat 16 th and then Sunday night. 17 th I read the Santa meet n greets times but I don't remember I'll look around if I find it ill post back

Thanks for the info! Hopefully some more exact times for Santa will come out as time gets closer! I would LOVE to go by there on our way out Sunday, but Im wondering if Santa will be out during the day time? As much as Id love to see the festival, and go ahead and let the kids see Santa, I don't think Im willing to give up my last park night for it. Thanks for your help though! If you find out more info, please try to post it on this thread!!

I have never had to rebook. I would just call and apply the "code". Is this something new?

I would LOVE to go by there on our way out Sunday, but Im wondering if Santa will be out during the day time? As much as Id love to see the festival, and go ahead and let the kids see Santa, I don't think Im willing to give up my last park night for it. Thanks for your help though! Yes he's out in the day time .. Like 5 times a day/nights. If you google downtown disney festival of the seasons 2013 you will find alot of new info about it. I don't know how to add links on here .

Just got back from a fabulous week at POFQ; we loved the resort. No issues at all with the Magic Bands. Loved using FP+. We switched a couple of days around from our original schedule and I was able to redo FP+ for the next day on my tablet. I don't have a smartphone so needed to use the kiosks at the parks to change FP+ same day and again no problems. We did pull paper fast passes a few times, it was nice to have that option.

We loved lunch at BOG; had the braised pork and Black is right, it's fantastic. No issues using the link on the DIS for the FP+.

Weather was good, no rain. Hot the first 4 days, much cooler Thursday and Friday,

Thanks again to everyone for all the tips and advice I got here, sure made for a wonderful trip for my family.

Now I dread the sadness that I know will be coming because it will be another 4-5 years before we can go back again. Glad we had a chance to stay at POFQ; that resort was my dream to stay at; next trip we will stay at a value;wanted to try a mod at least once.

Every time i have switched to FD they had to cancel the old reservation and create a new on because he rooms are not always available in the same block as regular rooms. Its basically done for you if all your dates match, but you will get a new confirmation number.

If dates do not match they will have to split you stay. Its not as simple as applying a code, although the CM's will make it as smooth as possible. Have you called them? FD is limited at each resort...

I've always thought aerosol cans were banned in luggage due to the possibility of them rupturing, maybe that is why you had to surrender the unopened can?

I argue with Bob about this every time we fly as he uses Right Guard Spray Deodorant.

Yes we are!!! We went to AK today. Did Everest 2 times, KRR once and got soaked, KS once, Dinosaur 2 times, the dinosaur rollercoaster that spins twice and triceratops twirl once. Very productive day....we got there around 2:30 and left at 7. Tomorrow we're doing MK all day!

Got here safe and sound and after waiting 45 minutes for our luggage we grabbed our rental and headed for WDW.

Got checked in, our magic bands worked great but they were out of the 2013 sliders.

Picked up our mugs and headed for the room. We did get our request for a first floor room but no fridge (requested one for meds), but they brought us one as soon as we called.

Headed out for some shopping but unless you count Starbucks destination mugs we didn't buy anything at the outlets.

Did a walmart run for water and a few items, then parked the car and hopped on a boat for DTD. It was a wait (2 boats), and DTD was slightly busy but not crazy even for a Saturday.

Ate at Earl of Sandwich. We really wanted soup/sandwich. Found out that you can 'trade' your drink and side for soup. So a full sandwich with soup for a CS credit. We were good with that.

Did some shopping at World of Disney (we each bought one item). Then called it done and we're back in the room.

Not bad for our first half day at the world. Heading to DHS tomorrow so I'll try to let you know how it goes with crowds/FP+/Fantasmic Dinner Package on Free dining.

Joe glad you're feeling better, Kat hope your trip in was good, Kathie have a safe trip tomorrow.

Thank you. So excited. We arrive about 11:45 A.M. tomorrow. Shopping at down town Disney and eating at Fultons around 4. Our check in time for Bay Lake says 4 o'clock but i'm hoping our room is ready sooner. Hope you have a great trip and maybe we will see you there.

Welcome! We're here too!. We left AK at 7, ate at the resort and currently having my 2nd cocktail with my hubby. Bed is calling though....its been a looong day. We've been up since 3.

I was thinking about you guys today. Our connecting flight was in St Louis, the airport is COVERED in cardinals national league champion gear. There were tons of people in the airport all wearing World Series stuff.

We got up at 3 as well.
